there is a new project for Bill Booth a third canopy. If there is a main/reserve entanglement some how being able to get out a 2 foot round canopy whilst avoiding the mess. Plenty have gone in after a main reserve entanglement high up. I got down safely (although hard) with a 20 foot flat round canopy many moons ago. Bill are you there son ?? A gross over reaction. All I said was woman had to be carefull in a bloke dominated sport. Getting invitations to social events where blokes swarm. Somehow your mate Sarah twisted it around and said I was sexist and had old school attitudes to woman. Not the case at all. If your the same bloke I think your are I am disappointed you have taken the herd mentality.(I am not sexist nor have old school attitudes to woman. Someone is Shoddy logic (as I expect from you) combined with a self-serving strawman. Reserves don't prevent every skydiving death completely, yet I'm sure you jump with one. Seat belts don't prevent every senseless traffic fatality completely, but I'm sure you wear one. And dozens of other examples where just because we can't "prevent every [fill in the blank] completely" doesn't mean that we can't make an improvement. You use very poor logic in attempting to compare gun laws to reserves and seat belts. There is no direct correlation between gun laws and lowering crime. When if /I return (without numb nuts and when I man up) if will be back to AFF And yes squeak and co I already have some one who will take me !! it obvious i seem to have a love/hate relationship with skydiving.. yet it always draws me back. I think the fact that he's not welcomed at the only 2 dz he's been to (his words) may say something about his persona. I'd be willing to bet a carton that if he showed up at bridgy and asked Ralph to take him for a tandem, he would get back in the air. I don't think Greg is man enough to do that though. yeah I think Ralph would take me back. Thats where I will head when its time. Just wanted to know where my mate Wokka is jumping. He is a great bloke and a great TM. I got on extrremely well with Ralph and I respect him. as high as anyone can respect another person re Man enough (bit harsh) maybe thats been the whole problem Iam not man enough to continue (although did manange 66 lobs in various forms ) Bit hurt by that statement will have to think about that. I opened a chest mounted reserve in 1981 at terminal at pakenham Vic Aust. yep you guessed it I pulled the wrong bloody handle at opening time. A very painful experience flat 20 ft round reserve no sleeve. Opened fast but ouch to the max. prob lucky I was only 22 then.. no injuries just sore for a week. kinda proud i went back next week and did 2 more jumps.. then made return some 28 years later and banged out another 26. Now retired for various reason (foot in mouth disease) Now about Skyhooks (still waiting for my royalty cheque Bill !!! ) I tend to be a bit different. enjoyed my time in the sport or is it an industry these days ??

HI verty stop dreaming and do it. Every one is afraid at first. You will not know if its for you until you try it. AFF is an amazing experience way better than tandem . I did 19 tandems before AFF and it still rocked.. steering landing yourself is bloody great !!! I am from Australia too. if a fuckstik like me can manage 66 jumps anyone can. Plenty of experienced folk on here to help. I play around with folk on here and cause a few hassles (all in good fun.. although some do not see it thay way) What state do you live in ??
