  1. ^This, this a thousand times this. I'm not "crapping my dacks" (whatever a 'dack' is) in the plane, but I'm pretty nervous. * Simple translation from Australian - Dacks = pants http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dack *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  2. My 400+ jumps and I still shit my pants some days So far every plane ride I'm crapping my dacks until 1000ft As soon as that door opens... Ever once of fear is gone and a sense of relaxation joy flows through. *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  3. Hmm... Only if I knew this 8yrs ago I would have skipped all my belly flying. *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  4. lol I've got a few more than that :) *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  5. So i'll be staying in San Francisco with the family for a few months and want to get as many jumps as i can in before winter. That being said, is it worth the drive out to Lodi for cheap jumps or do i just take the sort drive to Bay Area Skydive? I'm not planning to stay for weekends if i can help it as we only have one car. I'm relatively experienced jumper but i'm a little un-current at the moment. Secondly, it may be a dumb question but is there much jumping going on over winter at either Drop zones? Cheers :) *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  6. Shameless *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  7. everyone should know how to fuck with their canopy and recover.... *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  8. everyone should know how to stall their canopy and recover... with risers and toggles!!!! first thing people do is panic and release EVERYTHING.... big mistake, slow and controlled is the key!!! if you have never stalled your canopy you dont really know how it flies under EVERY condition *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  9. easy, grab a front riser and the opposite rear riser and stall them out... done it heaps :) lots of fun :P *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*

  11. It doesn't matter where the conversation came from. The OP is soliciting comments about the *safety* of the noob jumping a wingloading that seems too high for his experience. 1.4 loading at 30 jumps = stupid. http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/sofpidarf/ *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
  12. Stuff it.. i'll just get drunk.... *IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED... SKYDIVING IS NOT FOR YOU!!!*
