  1. I use this device for 2 years and it works perfect. As I know it's 1000 hz logger, but I can't imagine any reason why I would need 5000 hz logger instead 1000 hz. Hz would not add you skills and 1000 more than enough for jump detailing ))
  2. I haven't jump in it, but I know guy who have and i asked the same question some time ago. His answer: Rebel = more rapid start in base, MUCH better controllability. Apache = "seems like have better GR".
  3. - incorrect. It's much difficult to flock in V3 then in V4 (if the flock fly instead falling down on bellies) because to swell in V3 you need forward speed which usually more than the flock speed. Swelling in V4 much easier, because of extra clobber on the sides. May be you will don't mind if you very light and high, but usually flocking is V3 much toughly.
  4. I mean video if you would fly with somebody who have a cam on his helmet. I guess I'm not the only person who interested how it looks in flight .... And of course many thanks for the good rewiev.
  5. Equilateral girls rule ! Woulds you post some video of using it in action? And +1 to previous speakers.
  6. No, that's my mate. I posted 3 my photos in initial thread (orange&yellow). More mates if you want .... http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/544708_318959228171440_988808994_n.jpg http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/576832_318958898171473_888705679_n.jpg http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/578339_326408440759852_328841607_n.jpg It looks not bad at first glance and the first mate ordered new X3 in same colours, but in comparison with bright colours it looks boring to me ...

  8. If you mean deploying ir really full flight (without decreasing horisontal speed and angle of flight), in case of flight for distance or/and speed it can be pretty painfull. I tried to deploy in such way few times and it nearly killed me. Also I've got a twist few times. But if you mean deploying just without collapsing of wingsuit as much as possible with decreasing speed a little, everything should be ok. The only thing you should pay attention - incresing of PC eclipse probability.
  9. Dude, as you attached your wingsuit colouration, let me warn you against your second epic fail (the firs one was choosing V4 instead X2) .... Black&red colours are so popular that already became cliche. I think about 90% of wingsuits have very similar colouration, so it can be difficult to identify yourself in big flock. Also, neither you, no your friends in flock will not be able to fly without smiles on your faces if you will choose something like this: http://content.foto.mail.ru/mail/mrbird/9/i-21.jpg http://content.foto.mail.ru/mail/mrbird/9/i-20.jpg http://content.foto.mail.ru/mail/mrbird/9/i-64.jpg As you are from France which pretty far from Russia I will not be jealous.
  10. To those guys who think that V4 fastest wingsuit ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vg2I8sejV8&feature=share At 3:00 V4 vs Rebel (X3). Also pls see the points of deployments.
  11. Yes, a forgot to mention it, because i'm not base jumper and actually don't need super fast access to toggles. Every apache user on our DZ use zips for toggle access. Actually, I care only about perfomance and comfort during RW work for example ...
  12. Hi ! I ordered X3 few weeks ago and so far doubt about necessity of the "neoprene leading edge" option. I asked few apache owners about it and as those who have this option and those who do not have - all told me that it doesn't add anything, exept deterioration of exterior of wingsuit. Also, few guy's who have it, told me, that they will order next wingsuit without this option. But I saw at WBR 2012 video that Tony have this option on his Rebel. And, as I know, Tony's opinion that this option improve speed. Can anybody, who have this option or tried wingsuit with it, express their opinion ? May be it improve something only if you skilled like Tony?
  13. I have V4 but couple of weeks ago ordered X3. I always liked Phoenix products, and I agree that they are easier in piloting, but X2 and of course X3 MUCH powerful devices than any Phoenix wingsuit. If you intend jump at least 100-150 wingsuit jumps per year Tony will be best choise, if less I recommend V4 due to it's super easy piloting. Also, if you don't care about distance challenges and prefer flights in groups I think V4 will be more usefull. As for me, I'm seeking more power and ready to train a lot.
  14. You don't need to buy paralog. The only restriction of free version of paralog is that you can't keep logbook. Just download and use it. Also you can simply email me your your tracks in NMEA format to [email protected] (I can't force my paralog to read GPX format) and I will try to cut it in proper way and forward you printscreens of paralog analys. I will not share it by myself or discuss it with anybody. You will share it by yourself if you want. I'm going to order X3, which is airplane version of Rebel, that's the reason of my interest. P.S. Sry for poor english.
