  1. Bolas, Tramp Night is its own holiday. Tramps- let me know which days work best for you next week. It's looking like Thursday or Friday might be good, so let me know if that works. Policy question: Are jeans ok, if the shirt and shoes are appropriately tramptastic?
  2. Maybe I'm giving Thud more credit than he deserves, but I thought he was kidding... Or maybe he's going crazy from the lack of cheese fries recently. We had some last night, Thud. With bacon. It was warm and juicy- not too crispy.
  3. If Casey can handle it, you can handle it.
  4. I have a practice LSAT on Saturday the 18th (last one before the real thing), so Friday isn't great for me. I could go, but I'd probably leave after dinner. Could y'all do Saturday the 18th? Wednesday the 15th would also work for me.
  5. Does this mean you're giving up the seated aerobics?
  6. Huh? Did you mean to say "deer"?
  7. Shawn! It's good to hear from you.
  8. Dude, you need to change your nickname in your profile from "burn" to "Thud." Is there a Matt-caught-himself-on-fire story I don't know about?
  9. We're going to see Jackass Number 2 at Southoint tonight at 8 pm. Everyone's welcome to join us- if you like Jackass, you'll love this movie. Yeah, I've already seen it once. Hope you have a good day in Moab, E.
  10. Woo hoo! Dave's Katana is here! Also Big Pretty and the Red Rockets won in DC! They're in a multi-round Battle of the Bands, and a $1 Million recording contract is the prize. Check it out: http://www.bodogbattleofthebands.com/shows/show-details.php?show=220 Congratulations Joe!
  11. Not any loonier than usual. Keep on inundating.
  12. Casey, I think that movie is on dvd now... Whit, I'm really glad your surgery went well. We should have a countdown to 4 weeks. Here's one of the few non-action shots of the four of us. I have a CD with all the pictures for you- Will you be at the dz this weekend? I know you're not jumping, but I thought you might be hanging out. I saw my new ENT guy today, and he looked at my CT scans from last week. Before he even got them clipped to the light box, he said, "Oh, wow." There were a few seconds of silence. Then, probably realizing that's not the best thing to say to a patient upon seeing a CT scan of her head, he added, "I mean, don't worry. It's not like you have a brain tumor. But that's A LOT of inflammation." I got some 'roids to deal with the current stuff, so I'll hopefully be back in the air this weekend. I'll probably end up getting surgery in the not so distant future, so I'll keep up the quilting bee when y'all are all healed up.
  13. 5 pins and a plate? Ya still got nothin' on Harry's cadaver parts. Can people with sinus issues join your quilting bee if they promise not to snot on the quilts?
  14. Casey, I know they're not very practical for doing 4 way, running and playing soccer... but you should seriously wear heels more often. I'd love to see everyone's photos- can't believe I didn't think to bring my camera! Melissa, I'm really sorry you'll be on the ground for that long. Wow. That's a nasty Cessna bite.
  15. Does it cost extra to rub the cadaver parts? Looking forward to seeing you and "the Prego." Are you bringing pasta or your wife?
  16. Bolas, I'll be very disappointed if you're respectful and well-behaved. Whitney, I've had the gear for a little over 10 years... ohhhh. You meant the dress.
  17. Maybe just don't try to get on that stupid step if your name is Melissa... I think that plane could sense how excited I was to be getting out at 5k. It was nothing but nice to me.
  18. Glad y'all had fun in the tunnel. We had an awesome Labor Day weekend at home, too. Emily rocks for being the first person ever to say, "Sure Marion, I'll do the head up hokey pokey with you." THAT'S what it's all about.
  19. FYI, there are often last minte cancellations. The first time I took his course, I snagged a spot that opened up the day before. No guarantees, but it might be worth it to give your name and phone # to manifest and ask them to give you a call if anyone cancels. You can also show up on time for the course and see if anyone is a no show. Clarification: I'm not saying, "don't go to the boogie." I was just responding to the "so sad" part of your post. Sounds like a fun boogie.
  20. Is it too late to ask for a bionic knee? Or ligaments from an Olympic sprinter or something? Are your new ligaments going to be ok with walking around the dz in thermal long johns? Seriously, I'm thinking about you. Hope the surgery goes well.
  21. Hey Greg, I think I'm up for it. I'll give you a call so we can set up a ticket drop off... possibly at Moe's?
  22. Hey Harry. I'm really sorry about your knee. That stinks. We missed you this weekend.
  23. I watched that one last night too. A classic. Another funny one was Casey's first fruit loop- she held onto my wrists and we ended up just flipping a two way round. Casey then spent the rest of the skydive zooming around the sky, trying to stop moving forward. There's one priceless shot of Casey zooming forward from one end of the screen to the other and me looking at Justin with a "wtf?" look on my face. Two seconds later, Casey comes screaming by in the other direction.
  24. BP&RR at The Library tonight! I'll be there. Does anyone know when the show starts? Joe- I was watching some old freefly videos last night and found that hybrid we did with four flat flyers and you, Ellis, Eric and me hanging. Eric had his super duper fish eye so you could see all four belly flyers and the other three hangers in frame.
  25. I just called Nancy and put myself on the list for the advanced course on Sunday. Also, we've got a bunch of CSS types heading to The Farm (in Georgia) this weekend to watch/participate in Carnage On The Pond, a.k.a. the Wicked Liquid Swoop Boogie. I think Joey is leaving Thursday, and Eric and I are leaving after work on Friday. Anyone else?
