    Dinner is at the Cheesecake Factory @ 7:30, THEN going to Oliver Twist afterward. I'm assuming it's the Crabtree Cheesecake Factory, but I'm thoroughly confused (and bringing others into my confusion- sorry), so maybe you shouldn't listen to me. :D

    "Pretty cool jumps" doesn't begin to describe the super star craziness. B| That was seriously one of the coolest jumping days I've ever had, from the backflips and the donuts to the super-tight head up flying. Sorry I had to leave early on Sunday.

    And BIG THANKS to everyone who took care of feeding us: Eric, Eugene, and Whitney with the multi-course dinner Saturday night, and Dave for breakfast on Sunday.

    This Sunday is Debbie's last day working in manifest, and we're having a cookout at the end of the day to thank her for being so awesome. Let me know if you want to bring anything. I know a bunch of people (myself included) will be at the Raeford boogie, but you can always come back to CSS at the end of the day to say goodbye to Debbie.

  8. Oh, come on Whitney. You can't just talk about what you like to do. You have to add something about how much more fulfilling/difficult/not boring it is than what everyone else is doing. It's not about what you enjoy. It's about how much cooler it is than what everyone else enjoys. See the difference? :)
    Ok, seriously now, this weekend looks awesome. Summer school ends Friday, so I'll be out there Friday night with a tent and two garden gnomes. Is the tracking contest happening this weekend? Between Justin and Eugene, I pick... Michelle (a.k.a. the reigning tracking queen). ;)

    Mid-air synchronized swimming all weekend long! Did my flippers idea get the ax? :(

    Solos are for loooosers. Solos are booooring. You're only doing solos because you haven't had enough experience doing two ways to know what you're missing. You might think you're having fun and challenging yourself, but you're WRONG. I can dock on someone else's foot when I do a two way, and there's no way you can do that on a solo, so solos suck. I used to do a lot of solos, until I woke up and got a freaking clue. They're boring! Are you doing solos because you think you know all there is to know about two ways? Why waste your money? Don't get me wrong, I respect people who do solos, but if you had a modicum of skill you'd be doing two ways.

  10. I'll be sure to give you a call next time I'm going to Milltown. That artichoke spinach dip is the bomb diggety. You missed a really good show too.

    Speaking of that, thanks to everybody who came out to Carrboro to hang out and hear some good music Friday night! It was awesome to hang out with the regulars plus a few newer folks too! Hooray for my ever-expanding CSS family.

    Nathan, I promise not to forget you next time we go to Perico. :D

    Great minds think alike- we've been tossing around the idea of a tent/trailer crawl, probably as part of the yet-to-be-planned BYOT (Bring your own... tent, trailer, tater tots, tube jumps) boogie. :P I'm looking forward to your margaritas!

    So is there food Friday, Saturday, or both? I think we can do both as long as we have some sort of grill and everyone pitches in.

    Oh Casey- let me know if you want help with breakfast. I have one of those plug in griddles, plus I could bring a couple of waffle irons.

  17. The Tent Village was constructed on Friday and taken down on Sunday, but then another tent appeared on Sunday, so who knows. I think most people will bring tents for the weekend and take them down on Sunday.

    Big kudos to Thud for respecting the noise ordinance. When he had to leave for work at 6 am Saturday, he rolled his car from the tents to the parking lot and then started it. Nice. :D

  18. Re: student jumps during the Easter Boogie- be sure to call the front desk ahead of time so they can schedule you for a good day. Because you'll probably be doing a ground school too, they might have a preference for which day you come out. :)
    Hey Harry- you know how dz rumors work... Did y'all hear that Cliff is definitely going to be here for the Easter Boogie? Awesome! :D:D

    In addition to Dawn, I'm bringing some fruit to dip in the chocolate. Maybe marshmallows too. I'm also bringing a new tent (:D), but that's not for dipping.

    OK, I had seriously not thought of the Eric/chili issue. Maybe we need to reschedule this for Sunday night. :P

    Someone said you might be coming back to town to visit Duke in a few weeks? Maybe we can do it then, if you have time to come out to the dz.

  23. Because nothing says sexy like bowling shoes...

    Tramp night is this Friday, and we're going to the AMF Pleasant Valley Lanes. Dinner before bowling is for tramps only, but boys are welcome to join us for bowling afterward. Xtreme bowling gets started around 9, so we'll probably get there around 9 or 9:30. Matt D. (burnout on dz.com) lives near the bowling alley, so any guys who want to hang out before bowling can check with him to see what's going on.

    Bowling costs $5.50 per game per person, and the shoe rental is $4.54 per pair. Don't forget to bring socks! If you know you're coming bowling, it would be awesome if you could send me an email or pm to let me know, so we can call ahead of time.
