Right you are...ok is the absolute BEST in customer service!!! I bought a Pro-Dytter dropzone.com and it never worked. I emailed Mads and he said to send it in and they would have a look at it. A week and a half later I received a brand new Solo in the mail at no charge. I will always give them my business.

I will take it up and try, but... I emailed L&B, heard back within 3 minutes.... we went back and forth and they walked me through the replacement, what it did, no self test, no lights, just 1 beep etc.... Mads Larsen said "it is broken, send it to us" so, I am gonna go with what he said, especially since he said they would repair it for the DONUT ($0)!!

after emailing L&B... they said it is indeed... fuct! BUT they repair all their products for the donut (0)... so I gotta ship it to them... I DID download, print AND read the manual... it doesn't self test, light anything... beeps the one time and that is it. I am going mental, I must say...

I tried all that... I took out the batteries, waited the allotted time then rplaced them...once I screw the cover on the back I tap MODE and it beeps once... then, nothing. no lights, no self test, nothing... L&B said it has a problem... BY the way, I am keepin an eye in your s listed on Ebay!!!

"L&B is really good about taking care of us."- after a couple of emails I was told to ship it back in a padded envelope with a turnaround of 10 days and get this "ALL REPAIRS ARE FREE!!!" OK, now THAT is service... Thanks for the tip!!

ahhh... the problems is solved.. it is broken, I THINK.... Nothing happens, no READY light flash of any kind... I took the batteries out, waited... replaced them and then pressed MODE once, it beeped once and then ....nothing. Following your advice, I pressed MODE once and waited for the light in order to access programming mode...nothing still...

I bought a used Dytter off here (I know, my 1st problem).. anyway, the batteries were dead so I replaced tham according to the manual I downloaded... I wait 120 seconds, replace the batteries and press MODE... (at this point it should self-test, correct)...but the Dytter beeps once then nothing happens.... I have never had any experience with Dytters, does this sound like something is wrong? It is getting power apparently... anyone got any advice?

point taken... I don't plan on putting the thing on now, as I have been told that already... any advice on models would be greatly appreciated... I have heard that some shake when the wearer is in a sit position... basically, It WILL NOT BE WORN for the recommended time... I have, although new to the sport, already lost one friend and do recognize the inherent dangers of skydiving...as I said, this is just a quest to figure out what would work best (for down the road)... and my jump numbers are pretty accurate, I AM still UNDER 100 jumps...and I willl search the thread about side mounts...thanks!

Does anyone have any advice for someone who wants to just take video for my friends and I to watch? I am not flying camera for anything other than laughing about later with friends...have been looking at the Sony CX12...
