  1. I grew up as an army brat. As a teen living in Fayetteville, NC, Fort Bragg was an open base, and I'd go on jump days and watch paratroopers jump. My dad was a jumpmaster for the 519th, and I remember being in awe of the C-130's coming in low and slow and blanketing the sky with parachutes. All things aviation gets my blood pumping.B|

  3. Torn PCL, right knee. Rolled under me baseball slide style. Got in a bad habit of dragging right leg behind me on landing. Haven't had it repaired, some play in the knee. I never wore a brace while jumping, but I did jump after the injury.

    Just wanted to let everyone that I talk to on here know: I got tired of "Joeyh" so I made a new account. So yeah, I'm me with a different name.... And if you're wondering why I changed it to what I did, it's because that was my nickname when I was like 5 because I would get hauling ass in my bicycle and shove my foot in the front tire to do a "stoppie" and every time I went over the handle bars. I was okay every time until one day, I knocked my entire front row of baby teeth out on the handle bars B|

    ***Actually yes! Wendy Faulkner keeps pretty close tabs on who owes beer, and she was very quick to remind Walt of that : ) Since we had to move the wedding from the dropzone to indoors, I am sure it is still in the beer fridge (at least until the weather is good for jumping again anyway)

    Hope you had a great time in Chicago; it was probably warmer there.

    I don't think anything like that will happen neither will humans ever do any sci-fi movie like space exploration. In my opinion humans will drive this earth to a point that will no longer be able to support human life within the next 10,000 years. The only thing I'm really interested, and really bummed out that I can't see, is what kind of species will evolve to be the dominant species after all humans are dead.

    That's what a sperm donor is for. I just know people if both sexes that have had children in their own. One through a sperm donor the other through a surrogate.

    Not to be a downer but consider all the negatives instead if the positives.
    It could be a way to ruin a great friendship.
