Well we've decided to add a Dornier to the BEECH 99 for the BOOGIE - so now you're only choice is WHICH FAST PLANE do you choose?? So there it is - a UKS BOOGIE with a BEECH 99 / DORNIER / Helicopter and 3 (YES THREE) hot air balloons ... Not to mention the 17 load organisers and coaches, 15k altitude and FREE CAMPING, HOT SHOWERS, demo canopies etc!! And with jumpers registered from the UK / Norway / Germany and other European countries it's going to be MEGA So don't forget to register and we'll see you there ...

It's always difficult, but one thing i have learnt is that you have to live your life and to also be true to yourself. If it doesn't excite your colleagues then so be it, but it clearly excites you - so "you go for it girl"

Well you have a couple of options - you can rough the UK weather and try to do your AFF in Winter (it is possible!).. Or a quick trip to somewhere hot - Spain or America to do your AFF and then back to 'the rock' / the UK with your A licence

I have jumped at Langar and Cark and both are good DZ's. If you wanted to - you could come and do AFF here at Dunkeswell in Devon (but that's a bit further away) ... If you are planning on doing it before the 24th Sept you could come to the UKS BOOGIE and join in the fun

We've just had the BALLOON confirmed as well

We now have a BALLOON confirmed for the BOOGIE - so now we have the fastest (permanently based) jump plane in the UK / Helicopter jumps / Balloon Jumps and a FLEET of TURBINE aircraft ... Add into the mix 200 jumpers - approx 20 load organisers and coaches - every discipline from CRW / FF / FS / WS plus a HUGE party and a great DZ ...

We run a BEECH 99 at Dunkeswell 18 jumpers to 15k in under 8 mins!!!

It probably is a little easier for women to fit in to the DZ but as the others have already said that i'm sure it's your attitude (and not your other assets) that helps you fit in... (although i've never been jealous of a hook knife before ) However if you ever get the itch to come and jump in Europe i'm sure you'll find the atmosphere is just as good here ... Enjoy your gypsy life and enjoy every minute of getting to meet such a great bunch of people that make up the skydiving community... Have fun! James

Hi Guys Jarno and Macca will be WS Load Organising and taking people for their FFC's during the UKS Boogie 24-26th September at Dunkeswell Airifeld in the UK. We already have several experienced WS flyers joining us and would love to have more in the flock

Hi Chris I seem to remember that Nethers were charging £50 a load back in 2008 - some other DZ's have run loads since but at least one of those has made a loss whilst doing it ... The cheapest way to make a helicopter jump at the boogie is to book a load between 4 people as it ensures that every load is full and you each save a few quid against the single ticket price ... Still i'm pleased that you are coming and hopefully we'll all have a complete blast as it looks like it's going to be mega and with Jarno and Macca organising there we should make some great wingsuit jumps as well

Thanks for the correction but even the BPA website still uses the term 'licence' as well as 'certificates' - so it appears that officially either is valid!!
