  1. I have spent four, three minutes session in a wind tunnel, and I can't seem to get over the problem; at first as was tracking just a bit forward, but now I keep moving back fast if I am not held onto. Anyone have any ideas?
  2. Anyone have any ideas on how many jumps you should make before starting wingsuiting? I know that how well you can track is important, but can someone just give me a number?
  3. I wanted to know if there was really anything bad that can come out of making a jump without a jumpsuit? Is it any worse?
  4. I'm in Kentucky, so I would go to nashville skydiving, but there airplane keeps on braking; I want somewhere to go until it is fixed.
  5. I was just on the website, and can't tell if it means that you need to be 16 to make just a tandem, or make a skydive at all; it says... Due to equipment limitations, tandem students must weigh no more than 230 pounds. You must be 16 years or older, and be in good physical health to skydive. Physically challenged people may skydive. Persons taking prescription drugs or having a recent injury or illness that would require a doctor's evaluation, must have a doctor's certificate stating that no adverse effects would result from vigorous activity or making a skydive. Minors must have a notarized waiver before the day of your jump. Please contact us at 910-904-0000 for details.
  6. Thank you very much for your post, and I am aware however of the dropzone. (nashville skydiving) The reason I ask is because we have made reservations three times now, and each time the airplane breaks!
  7. I know that it isn't illegal to go skydiving under 16, but just against the USPA policy; I was wondering if anyone knows of a dropzone that would take someone under 16. (I don't care where as long as it is in the US). Also, please keep this discussion out of wind tunnels! Thanks for your posts ahead of time.
  8. http://www.joaotambor.com/ This place has really helpful DVD's.
  9. Great news! I found a non-uspa dropzone that's going to take him.
  10. Thank you everyone for your posts! The only problem with going to a wind tunnel is that the closet one is about five hours away...
  11. You were saying there was a waiver that could be filled out to go skydiving under 16? How do I get the waiver; I never heard of it.
  12. Hint: Non USPA dropzones Some state laws require 18. But I know that the FAA has no age restrictions. Sounds liike it might work, but do you know of any non-USPA dropzones in the U.S?
  13. My 13 year old son has just been dying to go skydiving; it's all that he has been thinking about for a very long time. I can usually find him at the computer looking at websites related to skydiving, (including this one) and I want to take him so bad! Is there anyway at all that I could legally take him skydiving?
