  2. I mounted it with zip ties... works perfectly never had any problems or worries about it
  3. Run the lines, count the nose, quarter the slider, wrap the tail and shove it in the bag... thats my pack job for everything from Xaos 84 to my Katana 120 to Sigma 370s i don't change my pack job for anything but Sabre 1 then i shove the nose in. IMO the biggest factor in on-heading openings is body position
  4. I have a very similar design for my main, It's a regular 2 grommet D-bag with a parapack pocket sewn to the back of it... only difference is i don't have any velcro or magnets or tuck tabs, just an open pocket i've had beautiful openings for the past 400+ jumps (katana 120)
  5. 1. I have a medium fit kurupee that is a little baggy in legs and arms but fits relatively snug in the body 2. I have the cotton which is a lot of drag (i need it) but it is hot as hell in the summer (nice in the winter). My next suit will be the supplex tho 3.I recommend the regular collar the high collar is uncomfortable in my opinion 4. Velcro is the only way i would go for cuffs, both wear out but velcro is easier to replace in my opinion I'm 5'7" and 175 lbs. so the medium drag is pretty good and the cotton has lasted a long time and through many biff landings...but the lighter suit would be really nice for the warm months (reinforce the knees and butt) Thats my opinion.   6. yes i have seen this happen. The circumstances were the student backed out of the jump and student and instructor rode the plane down and at about 2500 feet MSL the pilot put the aircraft into a steep dive and continuing the dive through 1900 feet MSL thus causing the cypres to fire. The Pilot had forgotten that the tandem cypres fires at 1900 feet instead of the standard cypres firing at 750 feet. Therefore the cypres did exactly what it was supposed to do at the right altitude and speed

  8. I've jumped both the katana 120 and the samurai 120. They are very different canopies. The Katana dives longer and has a slightly steeper glide. I've also seen that the katana has a better flair than the samurai. The samurai doesn't seek as much on opening though *take note though I am comparing a katana with 400 jumps (new lines) to a samurai with close to 1500 jumps (also new lines)
