  1. When you go to SVNH, don't go for the tunnel. Go to fly with Joe.
  2. I am looking for a very professional document that I believe was written by a person at Eloy. They tracked each fatality over 15 years and gave some very helpful insight. I have tried searching to no avail and would like some help. Best
  3. Nothing new, I received a brand new visoII less than three weeks after I sent my broken viso in the mail. You guys have a lifelong customer. Thanks.
  4. Thought I would share. Pretty dumb to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQqKkjwsmEQ
  5. http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USAZ0067 not one high below 103 F/ 39 C
  6. Skyventure Colorado They are absolutely fantastic. Talk to Miki, Brad C, Zack S, Derek V, Kiwi, or any other of them because they are all great.
  7. How good would you expect to get at skateboarding if you have only ridden for a combined 6 minuets over a period of time? If you can, do a 15 minuet session next time...
  8. One up for travis. Worked with him when I had 30 jumps and learned SOOOO much in a couple jumps. Really chill guy and amazing flyer. I cant wait to jump with him again.
  9. Much like what DSE did in the Photography forum with the list of stories about the distraction that small format cameras pose, I think it would be a good idea if there was a sticky with the aftermath of swoops gone wrong. Maybe not pictures of the injured, but what damage was caused to property by the jumper's body. Similar to this recent thread. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3892714;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread MIGHT help some people think about what they are getting into. Any thoughts?
  10. I am little confused. I started this thread a couple days ago. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3880228;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread So is there a difference between the 3032 and 3035 that makes the 3035 jumpable?
  11. So I just bought a Raynox 3032... And there seems to be some sort of moisture in the lens. Its not apparent on the ground, but during jumps it has what appears to be condensation in the middle of the lens. Any quick fixes? Already planning on returning it. Here is a screen shot of the problem.
  12. The fact that they have ground video would not help their case that this was planned. Here is the new link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJKcQDnKMEI
  13. Now that you mentioned it, seems to be possible that they faked it. I was wondering why he did not fight the easy line twists harder... If true, kind of a stupid and deceitful thing to do in my opinion.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfFDCYv24wg I was wondering what happened here? It looks like he did not short stroke the cutaway. 3-rings misrouted? It is not only a well done edit, but has really great camera angles. Edited to add second link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJKcQDnKMEI
  15. The Best way to go from a back track to a belly track is to simply move your right leg over your left. You should be very suprised how easy it will flip you over
  16. I hold you responsible to organize the new world record.
  17. Sometimes in life, some events really make you think about what is important in your life. Skydiving has made me personally think seriously about these things two distinct times. Two of my friends were recently injured very severely and are most likely going through one of these times. Skydivers always say that were a close-knit community and what not, but I have never seen the full extent of this truth. Until now. Chris got injured without insurance and is going to have to cover the bill. One of his family members set up an online foundation to raise money for him. In less than three days, mostly skydivers have raised over $3400 for Chris. Skydivers have bombarded his facebook wall with words of encouragement and jokes. Many jumpers have visited him in the hospital and spent time with him. Unlike most friends in life, skydivers seem to “show up” in times of need for each other. I simply find that truly amazing. In other words, thanks. This was not meant to be a add, but if you would like more info, or to help, visit http://www.giveforward.org/titt/ If you have any stories that show the power of this community, I would love to read them.
  18. It clearly says "a" broken arm and doesnt mention the person being unconscious. Wonder what happened? o... and "gust of wind" is my new favorite media term for skydiving.
  19. For anyone who thinks they can clear a lineover with a hook knife, please read this thread by someone who I respect. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=172047;search_string=hook%20knife;#172047
  20. I have around 300 jumps on a 188 loaded at 1.1. Great canopy to learn on. Has heavier front riser pressure and lighter rear pressure. Loved jumping it.
  21. I also did the coach corse with DJ. What a great experience.
