7 TU PC (thought it was the only hot canopy available) Papillion (discovered PC wasn't all there was) Thunderbow (canopy with 3 corners was intriguing) Strato Star, ring-n-ropes, 180 (4 corners finally came out) Strato Star, with a new fangled thing - a slider, 180 Strato Cloud, 230 Strato Cloud, 230 Para Sled, 180 Cruisair, 220 or so Pegasus, 220 Raven 3 (only lasted 3 jumps - unintentional water landing and it sank ... expensive jump - don't always trust the spotter - especially when he dumps out of the formation at 4000' and ends up being the only one in the formation that stays dry after landing!!) Raven 3, 250 or so (replaced the previous one) Sabre 190 Spectre 190 So what if I'm heavier than some ... Spectre loaded around 1.3 or so. Getting older and don't feel need for a pocket-rocket. So will probably stay around 190 until technology allows me to downsive and not risk femurs and ankles. Boring? Nah, I'm happy

Like many others - my solution to you is to psycho pack it. You'll find: 1. It packs like a breeze and will go into the bag eeeeeasy 2. you'll pack faster and make 5 more loads a day due to extra time available 3. you'll have more time for beers 4. you'll get the best and most consistant openings ever 5. you'll go home less tired Incidentally, the bridle extension only necessary if you jump a bigger size canopy - 170 or 190. If so, go to your local climbing shop - or have your rigger put together a 6" bridle with loop both ends. Enjoy!!! fergs

Well, I used a friend who works in hospitals making artificial limbs and stuff. He made me a 6" extension, loop both ends, bartacked, out of a three quarter inch webbing that they use for whatever purposes (anyone with an artificial limb may be able to enlighten us). Anyhow, that was 5 or 6 years ago. The extension certainly makes psycho packs easier (and 10 seconds faster). I'm sure you could just finger trap some 550 with a loop either end - it'll work as well .... fergs
