  1. You become suspecious when you use "safe" words. "Make a knot tighter around her mouth" I didn't even think about the knot idea!! but I will keep that in mind On another note, I want to soundprrof the room not to bother the roommates
  2. So I recently moved in to this place and found myself among very, very quite roommates. Although they haven’t complained yet, I believe that I am being a little loud for them. How could I soundproof my room? Has anyone done that before?!! -Amer
  3. If college is not cheap for you then I am sure that you will qualify for some grant money from the government. Regardless of your low GPA, I am sure that there would be a school that would take you. I know people with average of 2.0 and 2.2 who worked their way through and got bachelor degrees. In Florida, grant money is available to large number of students. 4. Tampa, Fl $3.85 regular. By the way, was this picture taken when Clinton was in office?? I called my dad to ask him how much gas was back home, Saudi, and after doing the calculations I found that their gallon is $0.61 "Those who would give up Essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety" Franklin

  6. Florida is the place to go... I came from Saudi Arabia directly to the US and St Petersburg Fl, was the place. I have been to several other states but couldn't imagine myself living anywhere other than Florida. ZHills is open all year around with TwinOtter always online(A plane that doesn't stall when fat people like me do stupid things at the door). In regard to teaching, Florida's average salary for school teachers is $40,598 in 04-05 with 2.41% increase/year. You mentioned having a master degree.. so that is a plus.http://www.fldoe.org/eias/eiaspubs/pdf/tchsal05.pdf Orange Park! that is a little village that has nothing but TacoBell and Checkers. I don't like doing anything outside the house and was going crazy when I stayed at a friend's mom's place for 2 days overthere. Not to mention, housing and living expenses are fairly cheap here in Florida. On the other hand, Tampa and Orlando has a lot going on. I am a newly graduate Chemist. However, I am not seeking a job in that field because I make more money teaching. I have been tutoring privately for a while. It’s very easy job and pays VERY well. If you are interested and you want some more insights, PM me and I will give you all the details. 8. Well.. I heard that the guy is a total pervert. He is not a cardiologist. He is a plastic sergeant. Back in the day, he used to have a clinic in which patient comes to sign in while no one in the office was there to greet them. His reception area has a camera there, so that’s how he knew that his customers arrived. Well.. the kicker is that he was also taping in patient under inappropriate circumstances. As a matter of fact, he was found guilty of sedating his patient and f**king them. I was told that he stopped practicing medicine after that or was forced to. He was also jailed Funny thing how a guy like him writes a book that is very well known! 9. ok so I just bought Rapid EKG interpretation by Dubin, and a workbook: ECG workout. Also, I ordered Clinical Electrocardiography: A Simplified Approach Thank you all for the recommendations. That was very helpful. Now that I spent nearly spent 7 skydives worth on EKG books, I would be very disappointed if I dont get a good grade on Cardiology II test. By the way, I heard some shocking info about Dr. Dubin. The author of that good EKG book. Anybody heard something about him? 11. Good luck next time. We too need 80% or better to pass. I still have Cardiology II to worry about. So that's why, beside the fact that I dont wanna kill any1 I work on, I need more practice. 12. Those were the biggest problems to me.. Thanks for the recommendation, I will look into that "Those who would give up Essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety" Franklin
  13. I just passed the test, which separates men from boys (according to my instructor), Cardiology I in paramedic school. However, I feel very rusty with EKG Interpretation as I failed to see obvious ones. Does anyone here suggest a good EKG interpretation books? -Amer

  15. I wouldn't have joined the heavy metal club I would have gotten better grades in school I wouldn't have been looking for weekends so bad I wouldn't have spent $16K on medical bills I wouldn't have to be so depressed because I can't skydive (It would be funny to skydive when you park you car in a disabled spot) "Those who would give up Essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety" Franklin
  16. What kind of lack of knowledge did your instructor refer to? Paying a lot of money doesn’t necessarily mean you are interested in the sport. Maybe you are interested in something you are getting out of the sport, such as thrill etc. I can relate to this because I too was accused of the same thing. I didn’t realize how true that was until I broke my leg for the second time. I too dropped nearly 2 grand on my AFF and post AFF jumps. But on my 16th jump, my instructor was shocked when he found out that I didn’t even know what RSL stood for. Not to mention, I graduated AFF not knowing what to look for when checking the gear. Luckily, I had great instructors who contributed significantly to my safety. Not knowing about what your instructor meant about your lack of knowledge, I would suggest you educate yourself generally about skydiving. Read the SIM manual. Read safety articles on this website. Seek help from more experienced jumpers. Your instructor probably has thousands of jumps and experience coaching skydiving, I would definitely think that it would be great to listen to him. If you want to educate yourself, LISTEN to experienced skydivers around you!! I learned that after 7 screws, a plate, and two Fibia breaks. I hope you educate yourself before something like that happen to you. "Those who would give up Essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety" Franklin
  17. Although it's not very clear.. but I think that piece has arabic alphabets in it. In arabic, words are read from right to left. The first letter in this piece from a sepcific angle, the third one view, is "ر" which is close to the sound of R in English The second letter is "س" which is closest to S. The third was the hardest to detect. It could be "م" or "ه". If it was the first letter, then the word would come up to be "رسم" which means to draw or drawing.. if it's the other option, then it's meaningless.. I could be completely wrong and the piece may mean something completely different. However, when I first looked at it, I thought it was arabic, which is my native language, writings! 18. Dear Mike, Scot, and Cassandra, Congratulations to all of you on your accomplishments. I too was very happy to have my B license. Be very, very careful with the privileges this license gives you. When I got my B license, I was the first one to book a spot on the first available night jump and the high altitude jump. I did the night jump, but was never able to do the high altitude jump which was scheduled the following morning of that night jump due to a hard landing on the night jump which broke my Fibia. Regardless of the injury that is going to keep me months away from the sport, the night jump was an exceptional experience. The view from above is absolutely gorgeous, but if your canopy skills are not good enough, you may want to consider doing the night dive later. NWFlyer wrote me something that made perfect sense "just because your license says you can, doesn't mean you have to." Trust me, it really sucks to visit your dropzone and see the people you used to skydive with without being able to share some sky with them (for a while) Again, congratulations on your accomplishment. Be safe out there -Amer "Those who would give up Essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety" Franklin
  19. So I am finally back on my both feet after a hard landing injury. I have to admit there is nothing like scratching that leg until it bleeds after 6 weeks of having a cast on. Also, I can take showers now without using any special skills. Last thing my orthopedic told me as I was leaving the clinic: “Stay on the ground; pick up another hobby!” I smiled to him and mumbled “In your dreams!!” Have smooth landings

    You are one lucky bastard! I paid $64.56 to fill up my van..  $64.56 – $11.49 = $53.07  $53.07/$23.00 (Jump ticket at ZHills) = 2.307 tickets Damn!! I wish I could save 2.307 jump tickets.
