  1. what was the version? 1.36 or lower? I'll also guess the serial # is less than 6000.
  2. Hmph... dunno, a hard housing wont "stretch" that far without having obvious signs of damage. I could see it if the super tack failed at either end of the housing. You may want to check. Its also very possible the handle was snagged on something during exit, or the sneaky bugger pulled it
  3. Strong dual hawk?? did you look at the loop? was it there?
  4. Happens here all the time. I find it funny how the dog owners never answer as to why thier dog was found running loose on someone elses property. People should take resposibility for their pets. There was an instance here where a pair of dogs put the run on a cow/calf pair. The cow went through the fence and the calf followed. Along comes an unsuspecting driver and drove into the calf who was now standing on the road. The calf died, the fence was wrecked and guess who had to pay for the vehicle repair and the fence ? NOT THE DOG OWNERS !
  5. A sunpath product will never jam shut with an Argus.
  6. I dunno Rob, by just putting a straight push on the wire end you wont crack the plastic. I am quite sure the damage comes from the plastic being too hard of a compound (or too soft), and the flexing of the rig as it is being used. The cutter is not as well protected as it would be in the pack. As mentioned before it's a mfg problem along with a cutter placement issue. On a side note Vigil has a softer compound at the junction of their cables. I have yet to see damage on the cutter end, but have seen damage to the plastic at the head unit (not the cable itself , but the plastic stiffner, simmilar to the ribs on a plug in).
  7. Relax everyone. Cypres knows about the problem and its not because some rammy gear wrecking rigger was smashing an aad unit against a wall. (I find it funny how we automatically take a shot at bad rigging or the last rigger when shit breaks or goes wrong) Heres a picture of one I sent to get fixed not too long ago. They were surprised to see this one come out of a Jav as units with simmilar problems came out of rigs with the cutter in the flaps. I will not join in on the political debate by saying BAN CYPRES !!!!!

    logo help

I'm having a hard time findin someone with some artistic talent to create a logo for my company. it needs to be turned into a decal for the vehicles. Any takers? Oh yeah...I'm also on a skydivers budget
  9. So they are a carnival ride not a "DZ"....... Whatever
  10. Go get yourself a b12, pull the gate off , and some webbing. build yourself a Rigger Rob. Works awesome because you can use both hands !
  11. agreed. Putting the cutter in above the bag is a classic case of solving one problem and creating another. And to say it only happens, or can happen with one specific brand of cutter is silly. The potential is there with any cutter above the bag.
  12. and you could date it to ! Stop those nast pencil packers like that Harrop kid
  13. Aha.....schorry..ah...haha, I thought....hahaa..... I won something.................whut...?

  16. full face oxygen helmets are not meant for FF jumping. They do not recomend it for more than belly work. Due to the high speed of free flying, wind can get under the chin and blow the visor off.
  17. Yeah, no kidding. I believe my Argus cutter has a DOM similar to the one that failed to fully cut the loop fully in Texas. LOL better install that cutter below the molar bag!
  18. Or you can throw it in the spin cycle in your washing machine once or twice (try throwing in a pair of jeans on the opposite side of the drum to ballance it), it will squeeze out most of the moisture. I also hang the rig in my shower on a bar and have a small fan blowing air underneath. Dry in 6-8 hrs
