  1. I showed up with the shock-value that this might be an awesome dz given the location and the scene. It was all ruined the minute those that greeted (and thats exaggerating) me. Not one person showed interest in asking where i'm from or who I am. All the jumpers there were a bunch of meatheads who apparently visited the gym a little too often and were a bit too cocky for only having 40+ jumps. This would be a great dropzone if they dropped the hubris and started making people feel welcome...I do not agree that there current management gives a damn about their staff and how they respond to paying customers....I was just a number while visiting...and some more coin for their purse...
  2. My first phone call had the dzo talking to me about how to get there and to make sure to bring beer!! Haha. I spent the night there 2 nights in a row while on business rather than my hotel because I felt very comfortable (and I could have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express). We jumped a lot in one day and was given tons of critiqueing on my landings while there was no wind. The DZO, staff and everyone that I encountered were awesome and I cannot wait to make it back again to jump. I am very used to jumping a larger plane but I had a blast jumping their cessna. Awesome DZ!! I defintely recommend!! Thanks to the DZO Jim, the chef Babs, the LEO Gallagher look-a-like Dan Pagnini (Barefoot Productions), Quigly, Justin, Larry, the Vet (whose name I'm falling short on) and Swoops with the tire... Blue skies (with a hint of cumulus around 2200 feet) DNR
