Method specific teaching and recurrency jumps are the realm of an AFFI, not coaches, as far as I know. Though I could be wrong. All I have ever dealt with in coaching is current students on their way to getting their "A".

What does your instructor say to do? This is a conversation you should have with a trusted instructor. Not people you don't know on the web whose motives are unknown. You could get the right answer....or you could get the wrong one.

I do use super glue to seal up knicks and such. This cut I could peel back the skin (dr. said it was almost to the bone, and did x rays in case i damaged the bone) and fit like a half of a penny in there if I wanted to. Plus it was super dirty from whatever sliced it open on our bikes. There was no way I could of cleaned out any oil or dirt properly. The location of it is a flexible part, maybe the reason for stitches. And I needed antibiotics for any infection that could come of it. Lol after seeing how dirty a super glue plant is you would prob discontinue that practice. Yea it works, but it's not sanitary like the dermabond process would be. I've had some that deep. You are in for lots of fun trying to get that to heal up. Especially if your in a job where you need to continue to use your hands a lot. Keep 'er moist and covered.

I got pretty serious headaches in AFF. I learned most was from dehydration. I also for some reason get them from my face being exposed to the cold air. Once I got a full face I was golden. Which is a bummer because I do tandem vid and am stuck with an old modified sidewinder helmet until someone decides to build a decent fullface that's cx oriented. I have also found it prudent to have some ibuprofen on board before jumping as a preventative measure. For you right now it's likely driven by the adrenalin crash as well. A big load of adrenalin like you are getting being a new jumper is hard on some peoples bodies to come down from. It should improve as you get more cool and collected whilst jumping.

Wow surprised they actually sewed that up. I get deep dingers like those fairly often at work turning wrenches and using grinders. I know an ER doc who just gave me a bottle of dermabond and some pointers on using it, saying if I came in that'd be what they would do anyways. He said they rarely sew things up anymore, pretty much use dermabond for everything.

I saw a thing recently where part asian students were putting down the "other part" that they are. Apparently some schools are cutting back on asian admissions, and the way for them to get in or to stand out from the "rest" of the asians is if they claim to be white, black, hispanic or whatever other makeup they can claim besides asian even if it's a very very miniscule amount. perhaps all their family is asian ecept that one white dude that their great great grandma married or something. So they claim white on their admission form.

I actually almost got into an argument with some douche nozzle on a commercial flight who just refused to put his laptop away. He kept right on pecking away at the keys through three announcements to put your stuff away. Finally I spoke up and said "sir the kind lady just asked everyone three times to please stow thier stuff and that rule applies to you too." He kinda hunched up and tried ignoring me until a few other people looked at me nodded their heads and told him to stop being an asshole. So then he turn and looks at me and says " oh yea like me typing up something is really going to bother anything", to which I informed his dumb ass that the people in front of him might not agree should we hit the ground at a high speed and his laptop goes careening through the airplane bouncing off their heads. I've traveled enough to see that there are a ton of self centered fucks that think somehow the rules don't apply to them and that they are above them. They zone out into this little lala land and some people almost become complete opposites of how they would normally act. I don't understand it.

Love my sidewinder for tandem vid work. I prefer full face helmets with a lens that can be cracked open. I thought I read a snippet from skysystems saying they were working on another full face cam set-up for cx cams but haven't heard anymore. One can hope.... Maybe friend up with the "csc experienced jumpers" group on Facebook and see if anyone is looking to unload a trailer? Just asking around on that page may elicit a response of someone who would take you in for a bit. I jump down there on occasion, but it's like an hour and a quarter drive south for me, and I work at a smaller cessna DZ close to home so I'm not real up and up on whats shakin down there most of the time.

When "God" starts telling you to do anything with a gun, it's time to check yourself into a mental institution. So when "god" tells someone to throw a touchdown, pull someone from a burning building, or some other "good" act it's believable, inspirational and a true sign of faith and existance of god. But someone's crazy when when it's the other way around?

So if I feel that I am a dog trapped in a humans body can I register with the AKC as a new breed? Join shows and exhibit the many human like talents I posses? Perhaps walk on all fours and bark at people. Then yell how i'm shunned and just being myself, how god made me. I'm betting if I swore up and down that I am a dog trapped in a human body I would likely end up in the care of psychiatric professionals. How about if I swore I was of another color? If I swore I was African american and NOT the white guy I look like. That my white skin and staright hair have nothing to do with it. I am just a black man trapped in a white persons body. Would I then be welcomed into the African American community, or shunned as a wannabe weirdo? Do you think I could get a nice scholarship from the Negro college fund? You know I am pretty tolerant and for the most part I believe that what you want to do you can go ahead and do as long as you aren't pushing your crap on me and I promise not to do the same to you. There is a whole lot of things in this world that I do not think should be the status quo, but are. And I'm fine with that, I don't feel the need to push my minority beliefs on people. If I find i'm not accepted, wanted, or enjoying myself I'll go someplace I am or can. These people can't honestly think that all those moms and dads out there that have girl scouts are just going to be fine and dandy with some boy claiming he's a girl so he can go on a camping trip with a big group of girls.

Found this one at the restaurant the other. I have a vehicle that has the reverse lights come on when you push the unlock button on the remote then they stay on for some time or until you open the door and get in. Was bored waiting for my order and were sitting by the window where we were parked so we got our kicks by hitting the unlock button and watching just what you speak of. Like you say there were some that would sit there forever whilst others behind them became LIVID. We had nothing else to do so no time lost on our part. I'm the type who just bombs into a lot, parks wherever is open and walks. Most of the time I am fine with just parking in the back of the lot to avoid the crazies. I walk over 7 miles around a factory up and down stairs all day typically anyways so it's not like i'm not used to walking.

I would think a helmet view wouldn't be that good on an aff jump anyways. The AFF instructors that I have seen doing vid have put a gopro on an old chest alti mount and wear it on their chest strap. Much better and usable footage.

Are you sure you didn't end up purchasing a rig with a pull out deployment rather than a BOC throw out?

I'm not sure why your worried about the "short staffed" issue. If you turn in your two weeks notice and they terminate you right away than your co-workers are still screwed and short staffed. lol

University of Wisconsin Madison or Milwaukee. 30-45 min away= Atmosphair skydiving center (2 c-182s), Seven hills (c-182), East Troy (pac 750, c-182). 1-2 hours=Chicago skydive center (pac 750, twin otter), Skydive Chicago (two twin otters, c-182 and lots of other neat aircraft frequently), Skydive Midwest (King air and cheap jump tix) No tunnel yet though. Hopefully someday soon we'll see a tunnel near Chicago.

I have four plates holding my face together after a serious motorcycle accident that very nearly took my life......because all three of my full face motorcycle helmets were on the shelf at home. Suffice to say I now get serious headaches if I don't wear a full face when jumping. I'm not sure if it't the temperature changes or pressure or what....

Double check your manual for a break in mileage. Typically a manufacturer will recommend varying your RPMs for certain mileage period, to help the rings seat properly and such. I'd also change the oil if you haven' done so yet. I've seen claims you don't have to do a break in change anymore but I don't buy it. It's a good piece of mind for a cheap price in relative. You never know what crap might floating around from the wear in of everything. You have a lot of surfaces that had to get to know each other and wear in slightly that shed tiny metal particles in the process.

I'd really like to know who these people are. You can have them contact me direct. I find it hard to believe Liquid has been non responsive to their issues but not knowing the facts and both sides of the story I will give you and your friends the benefit of the doubt. If they contact me, I will ensure any legitimate issue they have is brought to the attention and dealt with by Liquid personally. Liquid stands behind their product 100% and then some so I find this claim to be a bit hard to believe but I am willing to help your friends resolve any issue they might have. What exactly were the issues they had with their glasses? I was with them at summerfest boogie and listened to the sales pitch and tried a pair on with them. The guy bought a pair for his wife and recieved full instruction on how to adjust them and such. Throughout the week they didn't fit tight enough so she adjusted them as instructed and they snapped, near or inside the bow I believe. Husband said he's called numerous times and not gotten a response back. I've made it a point to ask every time I've seen them since because I was looking at buying a pair and wanted to make sure they were happy before I purchased. Based on the salesman's words I figured they would have excellent support. I should see them tomorrow at our DZ, I'll have him PM you.

Anyone using Liquid? I was gonna buy a pair, but a couple at my DZ bought some had an issue with them and now liquid isn't providing the customer support they promised. In fact won't even respond to their numerous calls. I really think the transitions lenses would be nice. But i'm not gonna buy something from somebody I know from that start doesn't support their product. I've had oakleys but they seem over priced for what they are. More like trendy glasses than practical. Still like my gatorz except that the damn rubbers on the bows always stretch, get loose, and end up with me just ripping them off in frustration.

There IS video from july 4th or 5th of what was very liekly many of the same black youth who flash mobbed a gas station and cleaned the place out. They then went into Kilbourn Reservoir Park nearby and accosted groups of white people relaxing in the park. The two incidents are very very similar. This isn't something new in Milwaukee. It has been happening for some time and the media has not fully reported the details of the stories trying not to incite "racial tension".
