Hey all! The next Excel weekend is coming up March 25-26— all jumping, all weekend long! We'll be at the DZ in the AM ready to go (9:30AM Sat, 8AM Sun), but show up whenever you can, and we'll work you into the group for as many or as few jumps as you want to do. We also will have an Excel Tunnel Camp on Saturday morning the 25th— there are only 4 slots available for this weekend, so email me asap to reserve your space and get all the details. Excel is run by 4-way team, Elsinore Gravity, and is open to anyone anytime— so whether you’re just off student status looking to improve your skills, or if 4-way is what you want to do— gather your group and take advantage of the coaching on any Excel weekend. For 4-way, either bring your team, or simply let us know when you arrive, and we will try to hook you up with other participants with the same goals/interests. Ok, it's official, the Wigs 2, Locks of Love MASSIVE PARTAAAY is ON for Saturday, March 4th at Skydive Elsinore! The rain last weekend sent us to the Sports Stop bar (Check out the pics!! This time the party will be at the DZ as originally planned-- jumping all day with the Excel Basic Camp ([URL]http://www.skydiveelsinore.com/teams/EXCEL/basic_camp.html[/URL]), or our awesome freefly LO's-- then the evening will be kicked off with a brief, but awesome, Saturday Night Seminar (a series that will be going on all year at Elsinore), pizza and beer around the fire...... then Pat Newman will fire up the big screen with his kick a** Saturday Night Videos-- Rosa will already have a keg on tap, and Moo will be coming out to DJ us onto the dance floor til the wee hours! Hey all-- for those of you flying in the Excel hour Saturday morning-- we moved the time up 30 mins so that a couple of the participants could also make it to the Flight-1 Canopy Course happening that day with Jonathan Tagle. Hey, check out Coral Sea Skydivers based out of Townsville/Ayr. During the week they jump in Townsville-- into a ballfield in the center of town (you won't be able to do this with only 25 jumps, but get your B-license/50 jumps, and you will). On weekends they're about an hour south of Townsville in a town called Ayr. Wide open, great views, awesome peeps. That is if nothing has changed-- I haven't been there since 1999. If Muttley is still running the show, tell him I say hi.

Hey everyone-- if you haven't heard already, we will be having NIGHT JUMPS this Saturday night, November 19th at Skydive Elsinore. You must have your B-license in order to participate in night jumps, so there will be Water Training, and the B-license Test on Friday night. Just call the Elsinore office to sign up and get details, (951) 245-9939. On Saturday, Chris Fiala is leading his invitational freefly event, Vertical Challenge, and they will be doing some sweet glow-in-the-dark formations, so definitely come check it out, and make a couple jumps yourself in between. I will be doing some night-jump RW organizing, so if you're interested in getting in on a load and need something to do, just let me know!
