how did you make your box? any technique that works the best? I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

I have to second FreeZR. I have owned one for the last two years and am very happy with it. The face shield has a slight outward curve shape that allows for any type of glasses. The closing mechanism is very secure. I enjoy the large field of view. Unlike the Z1 where it has a border around the shield, the FreeZR is clear all the way to the helmet. A bonus, at least to me, as a chick with a small head is the three different shell sizes. I don't look like a bobble head. I would say, of all, stay away from the Oxygen. I have see three, personally open in free fall. One time so hard it broke the face shield in half. However, these are just my opinions. Try some different models on and find one that fits well and has everything you need. I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

I started babysitting at 11. Then at 15 I briefly worked at a hotel in a national park. I was send down to the bowels of the hotel to the laundry room. I did all the laundry for the hotel; sheets, towels, everything. I was the only one down there. Not only that, but I was forced to wear the maid uniform of a hideous dress. I was only there for two weeks. I thought the three hundred dollar check I got was a million dollars. I made that stretch the rest of the summer. Then at 16 I started at a go-kart track and was there for three years. I liked that much better. I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

hahaha hey i ticked the 150 box i think all the people the ticked that box have handycams lol but all jokes aside i`m flying a 135 ft hellracer *CANOPY* right now with about 20 lbs more on me then when i`m skydiving and my landings have been fine. More like beat you with a rubber hose... Someone who shall remain nameless, but again was a quick moving new skydiver, thought landing on fronts was a good idea too! Impersonated a lawn dart and broke his ass. I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

yea i think ill ask some ppl at my dz if i can try out there stuff but untill then ill stick to speedflying I think this is a good idea. If you ask, you might find a demo rig, or someone on your dz that would be willing to let you jump a sabre 2 170, so you can feel the performance difference between a square and semi elliptical canopy. Also, as pointed out before, unlike speed flying, where your canopy is already out and "deployed" for lack of a better word, when you deploy your parachute in free fall, there are many other things than just landing to worry about. Body positioning, are you getting line twists? 180 openings? Skills that will become critical as you downsize. It takes time to build instinctive responses and muscle memory.

I have been very pleased with my FreeZR, by paratec. It has a very secure closing system. It comes in various shell sizes, so a smaller head wont look like a bobble head doll, and a large head wont feel as if they have no padding. The field of view is excellent, and very wide. It also has enough space under the visor for sunglasses and prescription ones as well. Two audible pockets, and a very well padded and comfortable inside. I use it for freefly as well as rw. Can't go wrong with this lid. I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

I have been jumping this helmet for a 120 jumps. I do everything from belly work, to freefly and head down in this lid. I have a small head, and with the option of a small shell size, it not only fits well, it doesn't make me look like a bobble head. The visor is strong with an excellent closing system. The field of view is wide, and I have no problems seeing my handles. A previous reviewer was wondering how the helmet would perform in colder weather. Well, up here in Canada, it can get pretty chilly. The coldest jump I ever made was -25C and the FreeZR performed like a champ. Other than some condensation on the visor after opening, no issues. I would recommend this lid to anyone!!! It is friggin' AWESOME!!!

Just say NO to the oxygen. I have been in freefall and watched as it came open on a friend of mine... Twice! Second time, broke the visor in half. As for the rest, its all in fit. I jump a Freezer and it is by far the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn, or the thirty or forty people who have jumped mine. It fits snug and comes in a few different shell sizes, so its not all in the padding. Also a plus is the visor closing method. Will never open on you, and can open under canopy. Which for us up here in Canada, where it is quite cold and you might need to scrape off that condensation you've built up, comes in handy. There is also space for sunglasses if you like. Me too... I've had this happen to me on a city street. NO other traffic around and the asshole's right on my bumper for 4 blocks! I got so sick of it that I swiftly swerved from directly in front of him to the middle lane. It surprised him so much that he stopped in his tracks and I drove off. Asshole... And its dark, so they just have to have their high beams on, so I am being blinded by my side mirrors. I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

I really hate this variation: Single lane road, driving along and someone comes up behind you. There is no traffic in either direction. However, instead of passing you they feel it is their duty to ride your ass so close, you cannot see their headlights. I love that. OoooOO! Even more special; when they do it on a two lane divided highway. You are in the right hand lane, doing your thing, then bam! There they are, riding your ass like there is a fucking tsunami licking their bumper. Stupid fuckers, every one of them. I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

Lets not forget Skydive BigSky in Innisfail. That is only twenty min. north on hwy 2. Twenty mins south of Red Deer. I have been jumping there for the last year. It has the close-club feel of Dids and the formal feeling of bigger Dz's as well. They have also invested in a lot of new student gear and tandem gear as well. I bought one of the new FreeZrs last summer and it comes with three different shell sizes. Mine was a small and it looks great; its light, and doesn't feel huge on my head. After receiving it I had quite a few people on my DZ ask to jump it. I highly recommend it. PS. Pictures attached...not so great. But the get my point across. PSS. The writing on the face says: do me fast. I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

I have a question. Or actually, more along the lines asking for an opinion about the new Bonehead Zeus. I have searched the net and found nothing other than the advertisements.
