  7. I had knee surgery on Tuesday and the nurse in the hospital told me to keep the bandages on until I see the doctor again next Wednesday, I'm pretty sure she said not to get the stitches wet (I was reeaally drugged up, so i'm not 100% sure). Well I couldn't imagine having to keep the bandages on for 8 days so I called the doctor and he said, no way, i can take them off and just put band aids on the stitches. Great! BUT, i forgot to ask him about getting the stitches wet and I've already called the office three times this week to ask questions and i really don't want to call again. Anybody have experience with this? Can I shower like normal or do I need to cover it? My knee is all gross with medicine and I really want to wash it off. Help! 11. You should also take into account where people are jumping. Jump numbers can be little different if your jumping all year round in Cali or only April-Oct here in CT. Of course if you are a true bad ass you will jump in the 20 degree weather I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  12. I hit my hundredth a few days shy of my one year mark. I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  13. I feel for ya big time...I've suffered insomnia for about 10 years (and I'm only 26, ahhh!) I've been to countless doctors and tried just about everything under the sun both prescription and natural. If you need any advice or need to talk about it PM me. I know how frustrating it can be, especially when all your friends can fall asleep wherever their head lays.... I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  14. you should probably keep it like that Dougie, more than one friend becomes a little complicated and we KNOW you like to keep complicated out of your life.... I used to have a handle on life, but it broke

  18. Ooo, it's the worst when you meet an attractive, cool guy....then you see him pull out a cigarette. Ugh! Instant deal breaker, no exceptions! I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  19. HOly shit dude, this seems a little crazy to me! What the hell are you doing to these dogs? Anyway, this debate is more turning into responsible pet owners vs. not responsible pet owners. People who are saying they've encountered dog crap in the landing area and dogs walking through the packing area....that's ridiculous and the dogs themselves shouldn't be blamed, it's the owners. That's not the kind of situation I was asking about when starting this thread, I don't agree with dogs walking all over the dz AT ALL. I will reiterate, my dog is quiet, tied up out of the way and picked up after. She mostly just lays in the shade all day. I really don't see how that can cause a problem for anyone. Unless of course, you go over and yank on her tail or something and she bites you. I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  20. I'm really finding humor in some of these points. I can totally understand that not everyone likes dogs, I personally, don't like cats. Whatever. But some of these comments, if pertaining to dogs, should pertain to people as well. I can definitely name a few people around the dz that there mere presence "bothers" most people, according to your policy, they should be banned. Like I said, I understand that dogs are not everyone's thing, in fact some people hate them. My point for this post was to find the general consensus which seems to be spit down the middle. However, I've found two other dz's in my area that will welcome my dog and if people there have a problem with her, I'll direct them to take it up the people who invited her Let me clear up another point, I need to bring my dog out of necessity if I want to drive to a dz away from home. At least if I want to make it a worth while day, with gas prices, it's not worth it to drive 2 hours, make one or two jumps then drive 2 hours home just to let the dog out. Just trying to make my life a little easier and gain more experience by being able to jump with different people. I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  21. What are people "putting up with" exactly? If it's a quiet dog that is on a leash somewhere away from the packing area and spectators, and the dog just lays in the shade the whole day....what exactly is the burden on other people? I will say that I spent the day at another dz today and when asked why I had to leave early I was told to bring the dog next time so I could hang longer, not a problem at all. I will. Hopefully it's not your dz . I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  22. That is probably true, my dog can do no wrong in my eyes but I hope people would tell me if she was overstaying her welcome. I haven't brought her to any other dz besides my own but if I do I will talk to people or call first to make sure it's cool. We had some tandem passengers bring three little yappy dogs the other day and everyone was pissed off, they didn't shut up the whole time. Ugh I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
  23. I've been meaning to, now I definitely will! You guys have our old pilot, I miss Van :) I used to have a handle on life, but it broke
