Was searching for some information on an old friend and ended up coming across this site. I've been reading through a bunch of the history threads and it brings back a ton of memories of people and stories from when I was a kid. I grew up in North Idaho (Athol) around a lot of skydiving in the 80s. My dad (Bob LaFrance) flew a lot of jumps. I remember parties at Hackney airpark outside of Athol. I spent many summer days at Lost Prairie killing time playing pool between my dad's flights. I'm sure I met some of you 20+/- years ago when it seemed like life revolved around airplanes and skydiving. Those are some of the greatest memories I have. I am yet to have jumped...not really sure if I ever will. When I was around it as a kid, I wanted nothing more than to have Tom Canarrozzo tell me that I was big enough to jump. He told me that as soon as I fit, he'd let me jump with him...as far as I know he's not really jumping anymore, otherwise I might take him up on it.
