First of all the area is an awesome place to skydive with green fields of corn and beans and sleepy farm houses for miles in every direction. The local people are so sincere and friendly, city types will be taken aback.
The '03 Boogie was as efficiently run as any I've seen in my 20 short years, including the now infamous Quincy. Rides included a helicopter, biplanes, Skyvan, Otters and the Chicagoland Kingaire.
The wait for jumps was nearly non-exsistent. In addition none of the disappointing behavior from jumpers or locals was seen; whatever might have occured was swiftly handled thanks to the fatherly supervision of DZO Steve Stewart and his family.
Food at the event supplied by local vendors and onsite restraunteurs was excellent and fair priced.
If your not totally impressed with the Richmond Labor Day Boogie- I'll eat a bug.
