******Just put a altimeter in front of yours eyes. I used a Parasport ALOXS because it's lite and have a vertical presentation. But can be used any digital altimeter.

Great! How do you have fixed it on your helmet?
    Thanks
Easy, a small aluminum plate and a screw, I used the Go-Pro screw. Many people use Go-Pro on the same site.

Thanks! Is it easy ro read in that position?

Icon long versions are a nice option. I've put ~50 jumps on one and it has remained tight on my back at all attitudes and angles of flight. No difference in that regard to the Micron I also regularly fly.

Thanks for share, wich Icon donyou have? A or V?

  3. Thanks to all for share yours opinion, I'm using a G4 for WS jumps since 2011 (open corners, 9ft bridle etc, etc), just to know
if in the mint time new features are available!
It seems that the only one new feature is the "long version" containers!

    Thanks again to all!!!

It is out of balance with a firm wing and a firm tail (that wants to be wide) with no pressure in the belly to the thigh. It also flies best with arms swept way back.

Yes, it flies best with arms swept back and chest exposed.

I have thought about making it rotate into the relative air flow, though I haven't figured out a clean way to do that.

And yes, I do believe sporting one of these will make you popular with the ladies! LOL

You could try using a balls bearing with angle's limiter to avoid the complete rotations and blind angle.
Just to give you an idea on EuroFighter there are mobile ADT (air data transducers) below the nose and they rotate (with a limitated angles) in the relative wind.

  6. 7 skydive jumps on Colugo, I agree in total with the previous feed back, my sensation is to stay inside in a wing,
very solid pressurization and quick turn with little impulse.
    Customer care is fantastic!
    Thanks

My HUD is not able to dialogue with Engage sw on my Mac, it seems that the ReconUpLink plug doesn't work!

    Any suggest?

    Thanks
    Mario

Keep trying, I have mine working on a Mac with both Safari and Chrome. Assuming you installed the plug in it has the potential to work.

Yes, I have installed the plug in from Recon site but Engage doesn't
    detect it!
Try again to install the plug in more times but doesn't works:((((

I hate to say this as you have a Mac but did you try a reboot? :-)

Yes, rebooted my Mac 2 times:(((
Today a guy has told me that his HUD is just in fail mode with locked dates :(((((

    Thanks for your suggest;)

Legal isn't my call. As far as I'm concerned modify your gear at your own risk. The issue I see is selling gear that was modified by a non-rigger.

    Ok...I understand!
In this container its also easy to come back from this MOD with a simple rigger's work;)

  10. Hello everyone,
For WS jumps Mirage says (on G4 containers) to unstich the bottom corners leaving the last 1" still stiched.
In your experience it's better to unstich the corners completely or not?

    Thanks
    Mario

    A comparison:

Canopy pilots have a forum where people discuss technique, progression and new technology.

    Wingsuit pilots
have a forum where they argue about which brand suit is better.

    ________________________________________
Canopy pilots have mutual respect for one another and judge a person on their skills not the canopy they use.

Wingsuit pilots argue with each other about the brand of suit they wear.

    ________________________________________
Canopy pilots have role models like JT, JayMo and NickB to look up to.

Wingsuit pilots argue about which brand of suit is better.

    ________________________________________
Canopy pilots spend hundreds and thousands of jumps practicing to hone their technique before claiming proficiency.

Wingsuit pilots spend dozens jumps practicing on one suit before claiming proficiency.

    ________________________________________
Canopy pilots compete in official competitions with huge cash prizes.

Wingsuit pilots compete in competitions for t-shirts and discount vouchers.

    ________________________________________
Canopy pilots wear cool clothes and sun glasses and people talk to them in the bar.

Wingsuit pilots use the WiFi in the bar to argue on the internet.

    ________________________________________

It used to be said a lot, but seems to have been forgotten - it is the pilot that counts at the end of the day, not the suit.

I'm going to take up swooping.. B|

(and yes, I used to be part of the problem but I try not to waste time arguing anymore, better use the time we have to fly - think about it before you hit 'Post Message')

Very nice ;) ...but both use fly sight!
