Someone posted an awesome website for me, here before, but I can't think of what it was. I need to rent a car from Saturday to Tuesday Kind of an emergency! Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of

Now THAT'S a cute story. And, by far, the nicest description I've ever heard for that HORRENDOUS condition known as blue balls. I've got lots of words for LOTS of things That sounds like an interesting thread all by itself... College Senior Skydiver WANTS YOU! to take a 10 minute survey

I'd like to read the full paper - could post the linky, please? -
Yep, you're right with regard to the speed. After thinking about it some I remembered him saying that our crusing speed was 175 knots, which is 201 mph. I'm sure there were times we were going faster though, although I don't know by how much. I didn't bother asking too many questions; I'd much rather sit back & enjoy myself.

I'll make sure to tell him in the morning. He isn't going too happy when he finds out that it's a dirty sensor & not just the lens. Out of curiosity, how can you tell? And how does a sensor inside the camera get dirty? Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of

Buncha little UFO dots? You get one internets Damn, dude, that's one dirty sensor you got! I am guessing DSLR? It's my friends camera, and he was the 1 taking the pictures. I don't know much about his equipment, other than it's a Cannon DSLR....with 1 heck of a dirty lens! Welcome to Earth, I see you haven't been here long! Compared to you, no one has. Hell Cavemen were the only ones that could have possibly been insulted by THAT remark. Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of

I've been working out for a while; it has been discussed in a few threads. I finally got to a point where I have a great arch, [it can only continue to get better] now I just wish I had the money to do a quick check in the tunnel, & then start jumping. Physically I'm there & perfectly capable. 50% of the problem has been solved. I did notice that if I stop working out for a while - a month or more than that I lose my arch completely & am back to square 1.. It looks like my disability is making it that I'll always have to workout throughout my skydiving career (if I ever have one). Just thinking out loud... Oh and 'Lost' - wish they would loose that shite People have different likes & dislikes; why must a show go offair simply because you don't like it?... It's simple enough to just not watch it. Not liking the show is 1 thing...at least you guys are not questioning Summer's hotness....otherwise I'd have to conclude that ya'll are gay... Anyone watch this show? I think the writing is really good, thus making it a good show. I hope there's a 3rd season. And Summer Glau - all I have to say is-------->DAYUM! Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of

Does anyone on here work in the field of forensic science? I am wanting to find out what courses/majors to take in college to get in to this field - no matter if its Undergrad or if I have to earn my Masters (probably the more likely scenario). I'm thinking I'd want to specialize in DNA; if not that than a firearms examiner. As long as I'd get to be a lab analyst I'm happy. Logic tells me that in order to specialize in something like this I have to take a lot of biology & chemistry, but that seems too broad to me; what are the specifics in these majors that will help ensure I can get into a carer involving forensics? How much schooling am I looking at? I've been thinking about going back to college for the last year & really couldn't pinpoint what I wanted to do. Ideally, my personality type requires that I remain active, but because of the crutches thing there's a lot of work out there that I can't do; despite that though I can't just sit behind a desk & push paper all day long. I'm turning 28 soon, and so if I were to push paper for the next 40 years 3 things would happen [in this order] I'd hate my job & would get bored easily, I wouldn't be good at my job, & as a result, because of the former I'd eventually would eat a bullet. I mean that quite seriously. I can't tolerate my mind being idle. Yeah, working in a lab isn't the most exciting thing in the world, but at least [I'm not only] stuck behind a desk pushing paper; my mind would be busy. And before I get laughed at/flamed - no, I don't have an interest in this because of CSI & similar shows. I've had an interest & the science that goes behind it for as long as I can remember. As a matter of fact, criminal profiling is also something that interests me very much. When is this? I'd love to check the place out, but you'd have to fly to Pell City and pick me up. I'd split gas with you.[/reply July 27-August 2. Try to come man, it'll be great to finally met you!

Yeah, I gotta agree with you there - the process of death pretty much sucks; the thought of my body slowly shutting down has me freaked also. I thought about it though, & I'm not scared of death itself; I feel safe in my beliefs (since this thread is already in speakers corner I can talk about beliefs). Since we're on that topic, I will say that, even though I'm a Christian & don't believe in reincarnation, it would be nice to get another chance at life. Don't get me wrong, I'm content with my life as it is - but I'd be lying if I said I don't wonder what it's like to not have a disability & be completely healthy & able-bodied. I wonder what it's like to walk without crutches & whatnot Dialogue/commentary between Divot, Twardo & myself - "from your first Oshkosh when the three of us were riding to or from one of

Are there any people on here that are certified sex doctors - or at least know a lot about sex? (No, I'm not trying to be funny.) I'm seriously interested in research & information pertaining to sex, in how it affects our personality, development, etc, etc. For example, what are the consequences to someone's daily existence if they don't have a significant other [and obviously don't have sexual relations a good bit of their lives. Likewise, I'm equally interested in the other extreme of this equation. I also wonder what the effects on a person take place on individuals that are in healthy & stable relationships, verses those that are not. If I was smart, I would have stayed in school & put my curiosity to good use - by becoming a scientist or something.
