First.. Where the hell can you find drinkable beer in a bar for $2.50??? Cheapest around here for drinkable beer is about $4 a beer in a bar (and I know I could find PBR, Miller, Budweiser or such piss water nastyness for less than $4 but I prefer not to drink that stuff) I usually tip $1 per Beer/Drink. If I order one beer, I tip $1. If I go to the Bar and order 3 Drinks/Beers. The tip is $3. If I run a Tab, I tip 15% to 20% of the total when I close it out depending on the Bartenders Attitude.

Depends on the DZ. Took my daughter to the DZ at about 13 and she learned to pack. It was a Bad idea. The DZ is an Adult playground. the language and general behavior is not appropriate for a 13 year old. Also as she got a little older, Certain assholes like to see how far they could push me with inappropriate comments. I have been to other dz`s that I would not be concerned about. But pretty much any larger DZ, Not a good idea.

That was total texts (Sent and received) Also if she copied 15 Friends on a single text, It counts as 15 texts. But yes, 25,000 texts was just on the other side of ridiculous.

My sympathies. Honestly.. It will get worse before it gets better. My daughter did the exact same thing at about that age. She ran up about a total $600 in text charges one month. Grounded for 3 months for that and she had to pay off the bill. Eventually 9After she met requirements) we got her an Unlimited texting plan. First month with the unlimited plan she racked up 25,000 texts. My vote was to stuff her in a Barrel until she turned 18. Her Mom vetoed that idea for some stupid reason. About 14 was when the MOUTH started. Backtalk and disrespect was the norm for a while. For us the key was treating her with some respect and eventually she reacted in kind. Hard to realize the Little girl is not a Little girl anymore in her mind. Part of all this is her trying to tell you that. Good luck and eventually it does get better.

Not a Bad idea but we are talking about two different area of Storage. The Overheads and the seats. The seats are a defined size. You either fit or you do not, How big your carry-on is not relevant to someone spilling over into your seat. In the U.S. (Not sure about the rest of the world as I do not do much international Traveling) they have a Rectangular Metal Frame at every boarding door and a sign that says basically your Carry on should fit in this box else it is too big. (I wish they did a better job of enforcing this). Do the same for the passengers. Either you fit or you do not. If not, Buy two seats or you cant fly. I agree that the seats are too small. The way to address that problem is to make it no longer profitable to have tiny seats. Mandatory Size-wise Door that matches the width of the seats to board an airplane. If the airlines cant fill the tiny seats (because most people don't fit in them) then they will have to put in seats that people fit in. Seems like a simple solution to me.

I think they should have a Size-wise thing for both your Carry-on luggage and YOU before boarding the plane. Make the boarding door the same width as the seats for that plane. If this was a requirement, The airlines would have to put in bigger seats otherwise they would loose too much business.

He usually buy 2 seats. He had two seats bought for his original flight. Got on stand by for an earlier flight that only had one seat. He took it. Then after he was seated (he claims he fit fine in the seat and could buckle the seat-belt without an extender and was not intruding into the neighboring seats) they came and kicked him off the Flight for being too fat. Then after they put him on another flight, A Large girl sits in the same row as him (He paid two seats so the middle seat is open) and they pull her out. Can definitely see both sides of this one but bottom line is southwest handled it like shit in my opinion.

I would make Brewster look Jewish. Day 1 - Take 1 Million in cash, Call a few friends, Have a Private Jet waiting to take us to Vegas for the weekend. the objective... Come home with nothing more than we left with but one hell of a weekend. After that.. Who knows. Already have my dream house planed out completely (Nothing too ridiculous, Total costs should be under 1 million), Just have to find the right place to build it and then spend the next year working as my own general contractor getting it built. Set up a trust fund for my daughter, Make some conservative investments and hire really good security to keep the "gimmes" away.

The only place I have found 2oz portion cups around here is at Sams Club. Unfortunately they only sell them by the case (2000 for about $20 for the cups). Another $20 for 2000 Lids if you want them as well. Not sure if there is a Sams Club between the Atlanta Airport and Fitz.

Dublin June 3th-8th (No Idea where we are staying yet) Budapest June 8th-14th (Staying with Friends in the heart of Budapest, Side trips planned to Prague and Romania) Paris June 14th -16th (Staying at the Crowne Plaza Paris, Gotta Love those hotel points!!) It will be Me, My Girlfriend and her Hungarian Girlfriend traveling together. Rough trip but someone has to do it.

Yes. Starting to look around those sites but Hoping to get some first hand knowledge from people I know or maybe some locals that may lurk here. The reviews on those sites are generally accurate but what a Retired Grandmother or vacationing pastor or such may consider a Great place to stay, I might disagree with. My priorities: 1. Stumbling distance from Great Pubs. 2. Somewhat near amusing things to do. 3. Roof Still attached 4. Relatively clean sheets. 5. Not stupidly Priced (Money is for Drinking, Not Sleeping) In that order.

Just booked my trip to Europe in June. Making my first trip across the pond. 5 Days in Dublin 6 Days in Budapest 2 Days in Paris Got Budapest and Paris all worked out... But looking for suggestions on reasonably priced but descent Hotels or Inns to stay in or near Dublin, Good Pubs, Restaurants and that sort of thing. Anyone got suggestions??

Not strange at all. I originally did not want kids either. No way in hell I wanted to deal with a Rug Rat. Then a Kid showed up and I could not imagine life with her. Best thing that ever happened to me. Now my "Kid" turns 18 tomorrow. I would turn the clock back and do it all again in a heartbeat if I could.

Actually I will be paying full price for whatever phone I get. (Just upgraded my phone to an Alias 2 a few months ago so no subsidy from the phone company) Yes, It does have to be a Smart Phone. Company is paying for it (and taking over my monthly bill which is real nice). My company is dropping our offices completely and going to Home/Virtual Offices. A Phone that can handle Email, Group Calendar and other office stuff is required. Budget is not really the concern at all. Just want a phone that is usable. I wanted to stay on Verizon because of the coverage. Looking into the Nokia N900 now. Thanks.

According to all the Android Forums I visited, There is no way to change the font size for the OS. There was an App called Spare Parts that helped with android 1.1 but quit working for 1.5 and later. Also I hate giving up half my screen for a keyboard when there are other phones with a slider Keyboard and you get to use the entire screen. The Storm2 with a slider keyboard would be great but it does not exist. the keyboard on the Pro Touch2 looks great. Very easy to read and use. But the dreaded WinMo OS. Keyboard on the Droid, Not as good but readable. Too bad you cant read the fonts on the screens. Makes the devise useless. (Also what the hell is the point of that Thumb rocker thing on the keyboard on a touch screen phone?? Complete waste of real-estate in my opinion. Uggg. Actually my dream phone would be the Pro Touch 2 Keyboard on Motorola Droids processor running Android 2.5 (Where they allowed you to increase Font Size) or a Storm 2 with full slider keyboard.

That sucks. I really wanted one but not much use in buying a smart phone that I cant read. I did some looking myself and found that this is indeed the case. Basically, If your vision is less than perfect, the droid is not for you. An App called Spare parts What really sucks is I looked at the Driod side by side with the HTC Pro Touch Two, The Pro Touch 2 was crystal clear to me (Bigger Fonts and Larger Text that was easily readable even without my glasses.) But the Pro Touch 2 runs Windows Mobile 6.1 (Not even the latest 6.5) and Windows Mobile sucks. Looks like I have to choose between a good OS that I can not read or a Lousy one that I cant.
