He pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny and has since repaid the $5,700 he pocketed. As part of his sentencing, a judge ordered Szczepanski to perform 80 hours of charity sky diving. The unusual sentence came after his lawyer told the judge that Szczepanski has been performing sky diving stunts for years for Buffalo-area charities.

Gary, Don't worry about Winsor. His failure to value a human life more than the use of a machine indicates a warped and depraved sense of morality. Every time he writes something it will be even more crass and ugly than before (e.g. saying that defending litigation is just as bad as defending rape -- get real!). Unfortunately there are a few others who share his point of view. They have come to conclusions based on imperfect information and partial facts. That's what humans do. Fortunately most people are sensible and have control over their emotions. They realize that the conclusions they reach may be wrong and therefore don't spout off such hateful bull shit. This must be a tough time for you, and it sucks that you have to go through it. I'm looking for a good helmet on which to mount my JVC GR-DVL300 (picture attached). This is the kind of camera that has to be top mounted (too big to side mount). I would use it mainly for free flying. All opinions are greatly appreciated. I'm especially looking for advice about what model helmet I should get and what accessories I would need (dbox, ring site, etc).

Hi, I am looking for a video card for my PC which can capture composite and s-video signals as well as download dv via firewire. Hopefully it would come packaged with some decent software. I am looking for something entry level in the under $500 range. Anyone have some experience with the AIW Radeon 8500DV? What do you think of it? Any suggestions of a better card for a video newbie?
