'so hard to believe that it's been 3 years since my brother made his last jump....and landed in a heavenly place. I still have him in my cell phone and I will never delete him from my e-mail address book. Jack, Al and I miss you so....We willl never forget you.

ago yesterday, my brother, Jack (Johnny) Gates left us. I can't believe that it has been 2 years since I last heard a "Yahoo" from him. These days, I find myself attempting to follow his lead...to "Live life and love it"! He is so very missed.

Today would have been my brother Jack's 70th birthday. They say once you cross over you're eternally 39. I'm sure he doesn't mind that. I just hope he's looking out for the ducks! (If you don't get that, no-one's forwarded the e-mail to you yet...don't worry, they will) His # is still in my phone and his e-mail's still in my computer. I'll never take them out because they keep his memory with me. He must be real busy because I never sense him anywhere around me. when it first happened, I got some phone calls ....nobody there and absolutely nothing on the caller ID. No more. I guess he's too busy for his little sis. I'll be back here next year, same time, same place. Yahoo!

My brother, Jack jumped for the last time a year ago today. How is it possible that a whole year has passed. I still want to send him e-mails and leave voice mails. Such a joyful man. He left us just too soon!

Friday is my brother Jack (Johnny to his friends) Gates' birthday. 'Missing him alot these days. I wonder if he has organized the Heavenly "muff brothers"? The world is just a bit duller without him in it. Raise a glass or mug or bottle or can in his memory on Friday.

Hello to you all, Johnny's sister here. I am looking for the source of the beautiful picture (sitting in the bomber) that we chose to display at the funeral. That picture put me in such a place of peace. If anyone can e-mail the picture I would love to have it as a keepsake. I am almost breathless at the outpouring of love for my brother. He truly found heaven on earth in his sport and all his friends. We should all live so well. Thank you all for sharing your stories. It really helps.
