  1. You can count me in but I'll probably float like i did when you and Pierce were jumping togather at the farm.
  2. One of the many stupid things I've done was on my first 5 sec delay, just coming off static line. I climbed out on the strut, let go and didn't arch. Cut 3 flips before getting stable. Once I got stable I remembered I was suppose to count to 5 before pulling. I counted to 3 before realizing how big the ground looked. I think I finally pulled around 1800 ft. My jumpmaster thought my AAD fired and started cussing me out for not pulling when I got on the ground. That's when I told him I did pull, just really low . One of the funniest parts was the other student in the 182 was also doing her first 5 sec delay. She was freaking out knowing it had been way over 5 seconds and both the jumpmaster and pilot were looking worried with their heads stuck out the door. After about 15-20 seconds (once I pulled), the jumpmaster looks at her and says "Your turn!" She pulled about 1 second off the strut
  3. Well...I'm not sure what happened to Justin's list, but maybe this will help get it started again... Snag2 (aka Beaker) Smears Can't wait for it!
  4. I would, actually I do everytime I drink...still underage
  5. I'm enjoying life to the max, 132...
  6. I don't have many jumps myself, but I went through a phase where my flare was always off. What I would do to help out is not look directly at the ground. At my dz we have a tree line off to the side, so I will glance at the trees to get a better judgement of how high I am. If you can, try to find a stationary object like that to look at. Again, I don't have much experience, but this works for me. Good luck!
  7. I love how the picture with the boat has "Temporary Insanity II" written on the side...
  8. I didn't think about the fact that I would burn up about 1000 feet turning and waving off, but that's a good point. I usually push the nose in about half way and don't roll it. That's another question I have...Some people tell me to roll the nose and others tell me not too. I put the slider equally in all 4 sections.
  9. I've been jumping a Sabre2 210 and load it about .75. Lately it seems to snivel for longer and longer each time I open. On my last jump I was doing a 4 way, we decided to break at 4000 and I would pull right then. We broke a little above 4, I did a 360 to make sure no one was around, waved off and pulled. The canopy wasn't completely open until 2000. Is it the way that I'm packing that makes it snivel so long or something else? Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
  10. So if I come is there going to be somebody willing to jump with me for the initiation?

    Cheaters

I don't know, that rule could work too. (btw, in case anybody is wondering, I'm just kidding.)

    Cheaters

I've always heard the rule, "It's not cheating if it's in different area codes."

    Best Jump!

I agree, that was the most amazing jump!
  15. A close knit group of regular jumpers who puts out plenty of tandems and student jumpers. Beatiful vistas of the mountains and Lake Hartwell, plus the Clemson University Campus. Two Cessna 182s. Find Jim Burris, DZO+S&TA, when you arrive to check your gear and give the all clear...
