Mid-America Sport Parachute Club (MASPC) is having our annual Skydiving Boogie! We Will have the Turbine Cessna Caravan 208 that holds up to 13 people and will be flying up to 13,500 ft over the Mid-West sky in the heartland of Illinois! Our Airport is just on the outskirts of town, motels, restaurants are 2 miles from the airport.. We Will have a onsite food truck (Big Jakes BBQ) for some good food! We have camping available for those that wish to set up a tent right next to our hanger. So come on out and enjoy the open spaces. We do have a fun jumper registration fee $30.00. the first 50 licensed skydivers get swag bag of goodies! The plane arrives Friday morning around 10 AM and we expect wheels up by 12 noon! We have the Cessna Caravan coming for 3 days of turbine enjoyment, Aug 16, 17 & 18th. We don't charge a boogie fee, use that money as jump money. Enjoy the jump altitude of up to 13,500 feet over the skies of Taylorville, IL in the Heart of Illinois!. We have a place right next to our DZ you can sit up a tent and camp out for 3 days! We have David Legan ( Wingsuiter and all around funny guy!! or is that cat guy?) will be here to organize wingsuit flock dives!. We will have Food on site provided by Big Jakes BBQ! its GOOD!!! there are other food and hotels in town that is only 1-2 miles aways from the airport. Come on out and jump the turbine at our annual once a year boogie!. Hang out after jumping, party and see what kinda games Jeff Mchenry has planned for the night festivities.

A dropzone that has plenty of wide open area's to land at. Staff are knowledgeable about training, equipment, they keep safety always at the top. They have very good equipment to use if your doing a tandem or learning to skydive on your own. This is a DZ that takes the time with you to teach you, and help you experience the best of Skydiving and help you progress to getting licensed as a skydiver if you choose to go that route. Everyone there is friendly and fun and if you like RW, you got it here!. The Dropzone has two 206 Cessna's, yes two 206's to fly and keep jumpers jumping,, oh and if you like accuracy, they have a pea pit for accuracy buffs. They have TV and video equipment for you, if you want to watch video of a skydive you did with friends or for students and tandems if they got video. Its a relaxed DZ with awesome people and a great place to jump and have fun. Airport is located close to the town of Taylorville, alot of places to eat and relax within just 5 minutes.

Have made a few jumps at gateway skydiving center, Nice DZ., wide open landing area, great staff, Will be back to jump there again and again!

yes we have a king air and we have a cessna 182, we may have an additional 182 also this weekend for the POPS meet,, Im not 100% sure, but that was what was planned., you can contact the DZ and check.

POPS meet this weekend at 7-9-10 thru 7-11-10 at Archway Skydiving in Vandalia Illinois. over phorty and under phorty are all welcome!!!

Here in Illinois its year round jumping too.. also the visual's are awesome in the winter time. and if the wind is not bad, its like flying in clean air, smooth, non-turbulent, an absolute blast!! winter jumps ftw.

dated this girl for just alittle over a year, really thought she was the one,, i guess we both thought the same, we waited it out into the fourth month till it was too much to take, the pressure was too much,, ( no pun intended, but i thought it funny to add that ) we really thought that just jumping into bed after seeing each other a few times would be just lustful and cheap and didnt want to ruin a friendship/relationship by doing that, did waiting want me to want her more? that I can't honestly say. I really liked this girl... i guess it really would not have mattered cause I could be satisfied to be around her even if sex was not on the order of the day, both of us complimented the other by just being there with one another. I will say that after the first few times the excitment did wear off, but the sex was still awesome.
