  1. On arrival was immediately made very welcome and encouraged to jump and learn a new skill by Rod the CI. Views were some of the best I have seen in jumping many locations in the world, worth it for that alone. A small, but highly professional and friendly operation, right in town, close to bars and motels and with a CI who cares about the sport and making it safe fun for sporties, AFF and tandem students alike. The best views I have seen on my tour of NZ and the flight to altitude has to be seen to be believed! Huge thanks to Rod and his team.
  2. What a great DZ! Turned up whilst on a skydiving tour of NZ and was immediately made very welcome by the friendly and professional team. A few other sporties were about, so jumped with them, fantastic scenery, great rates (and cheap, good local accom). Micro-climate means lots of good weather, with fantastic views, regular lifts and great efforts by Stewart and his team to get me in the air as much as I wanted. Thanks a million guys!!
  3. I did Stansted/Girona in October and took it as hand luggage in the rig bag - it was probably oversize and certainly slightly overweight (my rig weighs 12 kilos) but no real issue at Stansted and none at Girona. Good advice about the Cypress card, I keep mine in the reserve flap with the reserve docs, but haven't been asked for it yet... Good luck!
