  1. Got mine Mk2 and tried it wind tunnel. Cool and nice helmet, but same thing happened to me. Visor flip open while barrel rolls and I almost lost my glasses. I am just wondering how your fix is working? Is that fixed the problem? Or anything else needs to be done? I was thinking whole day about making some sort of stoppers, plastic cups that will be blocking visor on posts. Or even redo the posts like a little hooks that will be directed down and sort of keep visor from opening.
  2. Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and run it. After that just forget about that junk.
  3. Forget about just abs... Do the base - Deadlift, squat, benchpress. Free weights only. No other supportive junk. Just these workouts. One exercise per workout. If you do deadlift today, do deadlift only, do it hard. Control your technique. Got questions? Feel free to ask.
  4. That is sort of uncertain. Any more details, please? Some people may not be able to be there for two days.
  5. No, No, No!!! I don't believe that...
  6. I did not know Beezy as good as many of you did... I just knew him as the great person, great teacher and great skydiver... I am really sorry that I, well, we missed that day. Goodbye, Beezy! Fly free! Victor and Natasha.
  7. I am curious is this place still under maintenance or? Their website sais so.
  8. I can be wrong, but it seems like this particular airplane been in Japan or China for a while. More likely China first and than Japan. It was probably been sold there at a time when Soviet Union collapsed. Wild commerce, you know. The only thing I am curious about is it's paintings. Why would anybody wanted to keep it original, with CCCP and Aeroflot labels? I flew that type of planes many times as a passenger and once landed in it with an engine completely shut down. Was pretty cool experience. Those plane had modified landing gear - ski instead of wheels.
  9. This is exactly what I was always talking about! There are waaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooo many packers whos concern is just 5 or 6 bucks for pack job and nothing else. They do not even bother to think about what could happen in the skies. Line dump, line over/twist, premature deployment - who cares? I've got my 5 bucks and everything else is just "bad body position" or "shit happens"... This is sort of understandable thing - pay your money and take your chances. But isn't it too much "yours" in here? Where is the packer part? Funny thing, when somebody trying to say something (complain would be better word) about hard opening or something that went wrong and related strictly to packing, they always gets these answers.
  10. he-he... Just tested my microwave, TV, notebook and what is most important - iron in 1 inch proximity of a magnet. Neither device is working right. However, my old style cellphone (no camera, no other shit - phone must be a phone) still working. Isn't it funny? Ohhh... I forgot about my fridge!
  11. I do not do any generalizations. I know in person those people and I know exactly what I am talking about. And I can compare.
  12. Funny subject. And funny discussion. Looks like you guys, have a lots of free time and have nothing else to do. Go, get yourself busy, doing something more useful, jump for example... What's exactly unethical here? Somebody trying to promote themselves and at the same time doing a huge favor for places that are used in their keywords. I would consider this as unethical if the whole site content would be stolen from other places and just edited a little bit. This particular example is more unprofessional, than unethical, that's what I think. There are tons of other things that are more unethical, than this little attempt to put a link to the website just one or two rows higher in search result.
  13. Thank yuou for responses, guys. This is exactly what I thought about this thing. Now, imagine a DZ, where no one cares who and how pack a parachutes... Would you consider this DZ as safe place?
  14. Yeah, I understand that tandem pack job is not very much different from regular one, except few steps. But it looks totally different to me from point of responsibility. Of course packer must be responsible on any type of pack job, but tandem is twice more, isn't it? And I know some people are very picky on this one.
  15. Hello! This question is mostly for Tandem Instructors. Riggers and others are welcome too. Which way do you prefer? To pack your tandem rigs by yourself or let this job to experienced packer you know very well and trust? Would you jump a rig packed by somebody just trained to pack them and never packed anything at all before? From what amount of sport rig packings would you consider that a packer experienced enough and is Ok to start working with tandem rigs?
  16. I can take up to 2 people from Atlanta's airport tomorrow, Wednesday between 11 A.M. and 1 P.M. or Thursday morning, between 6:30 A.M. and 7:30 A.M. PM me if you need a ride.
  17. That is exactly why I came there two week before and checked things out. After careful consideration I decided that $40 for hotel room would be the best way to spend money there. Vic.
  18. As usual here in GA - 5 dollars. Btw, if anyone looking for a packer on this boogie, PM me and we will set it up. P.S. I am thinking about making it like "SALE", there will be some specials: - Cutaway - buy one, get one free; - 50 cents per line twist; - and of course, the favorite of mine - line over. Just a buck. Just kidding...
  19. Can I come? Can I come? I am not a jumper (actually I am, but very low number), but I can pack your parschutes... Can I come? Can I come?
  20. Bingo! Isn't it a key instruction in your skydive? Yes, I could see him too. The problem is, I think, you know how to get fast practically. AFF students probably know the same thing, but theoretically. It is different. Yes, I do miss the whole thing, dude... I totally understand that. Just trying to mix this knowledge up. Thank you. P.S. I am trying to look at the subject from heights of mine tiny experience and analyze it in order not to do anything stupid in the future! I, personally, made a huge mistake once. I learned my lesson and wanted to learn from others. Blue skies, everyone!
  21. So, you do not really know what your real speed was then. Just an estimation from your instructors. I bet it was not faster than 125-130 mph. However it is not that important as FF sequence itself. Did your instructors ever tell you what to do if you found yourself alone in FF? I am sure yes, but you never told us what exactly they told you to do. (point me, if I miss somesing) Please, let us know.
  22. 150 mph? How did you do this? Were you bent in half? My fastest fall rate I ever reached was 138 mph @ 260 lbs of exit weight.
