  1. Problem solved. This did it: http://www.grauonline.de/cmsimple2_6/en/?Solutions:HD_Video_Repair_Utility Not for free, but it worked.
  2. After connecting my GoPro2 to a USB switch to play video on a screen, the video files (MP4) got corrupted/deleted, probably through not properly switching off the camera before disconnecting. I managed to retrieve the files with a recovery tool, structurally they seem/are indicated to be OK. However, from what I could dig out from the web, the indexing of the file is most likely corrupted/broken. When trying to play back on a standard media player (VLC) it only shows black without sound. It does not indicate an error. Importing into editing software (iMovie, Video Deluxe) also did not help. Any input / help how to fix this highly appreciated. Thanks.

  4. Thanks also from my side to everyone involved. It was a fun, respectful and safe event, more than worth the trip. Great team who stuck to it and accomplished a lot in little time, despite several challenges. Hope to be able to bag the big one this year! Alex

  12. Very well organized dropzone in a fantastic picturesque environment. Went there for a few days early January 07, weather was superb. Overall very friendly and accommodating atmosphere. Very helpful staff, also organized our accommodation bookings at very competitive price. Literally no wait times due to two very fast DO 28 going up to 15000 ft. in no time. Amazing, breathtaking sunset loads. Large and clean packing area. Main landing area currently under construction, however still fine. Helpful staff, always willing to support and answer questions. Definitely will be back.
