  1. Still alive. Jumped last Sunday. I am running through the woods today doing orienteering. Should be back for the Christmas boogie. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  2. I know I got there pretty late Saturday night...but PLEASE tell me Kyle didn't borrow one of Bolas's thongs! Oh the humanity. No, but apparently if one attempts to get into the spirit of the party by purchasing a last minute walmart costume, one must be ridiculed more than those who didn't even wear a costume. Just one more reason for me to be apathetic about halloween. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  3. Woohoo! Look at that. My name up in lights! Better than having your name up in fireworks. Make sure you bring your full-face helmet and a bunch of roman-candles for Halloween. I've still got a few fireworks left from the 4th. I'll bring them along. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  5. How about some aardvark. Heard it tastes like chicken. Yes it does, but that's because chicken tastes like everything. Though I think aardvark would be a bit too tough for you to handle. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  6. You can have ANYTHING as long as it's not low country boil!!!!!! Don't like it, don't need it, will not eat it! ( i am looking for the "puke face". What about a high country boil? Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  11. The new site looks good but I hate the rolling dropdown menus. Other than that good job! Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  12. Hey as long as my reserve opens when it should, you can be a right bastard for all I care. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  13. I've bought numerous items from Mike, and he packs my reserve. I trust him implicitly. Call him if you have any questions. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  15. Speaking of which, Jay where's my SCR & SCS numbers? Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  16. Basically it boils down to if you do a first in anything, you owe beer. When you get 100, 1000, 2000 etc jumps, you get pied. Everyone's part of the traditions. There's more than what I said but those cover 90% of everything. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  17. If you're doing a solo jump or a hop n' pop then you may be able to get away with it. The things to consider are the shirt getting loose and interfering with your handles on deployment and in an emergency. The other issue is if you're jumping with others, your movement will be completely different than while wearing a jumpsuit. I've found it harder to maneuver and get stable initially. I'm sure with practice you could do it but the first few times it will be pretty ungraceful and potentially dangerous for the other jumpers. Plus your tracks will suck on breakoff. All that fabric in your jumpsuit that makes you hot also catches air and allows for better control. Also, unless you're 100% confident in your landing skills, you could end up like myself and take some skin off you knees/legs/arms with a botched landing. Some things to consider. I'd say if you insist on jumping in shorts & a tshirt, start with hop n' pops and then do solos. For the record, I have an all black jumpsuit and even during 100+ degree weather I suck it up and wear the damm thing. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  19. I'm a big fan of dogs. (Except for the small yappy bastards.) For the most part I don't mind if dogs are at the dz. I tend to just not pay much attention to them. Most people at the dz are good about keeping theirs and other dogs out of the hanger and off the packing carpet. However it's usually the few bad dogs/owners who ruin things for everyone. My general feeling is if you're a responsible owner who is willing to keep an eye on them AND your dog is well behaved and listens to you and others, then I'm cool with you both. Otherwise, you can either keep the dog in a pen/trailer/tied up or leave it at home. People's kids on the other hand are more bothersome to me. Again many of you have good kids who are well behaved. Congrats and keep up the good work. Some people's kids though need to be talked to. Running over lines, hanging from gear racks right next to people's rigs and running around and knocking into me is not ok in my book. I'm glad when I see a family able to come out on the weekend and be together, but everyone needs to behave appropriately based upon where they are at the dz. Let your kids know that they need to behave themselves when around people's gear and pay attention to where they're playing. If they can't handle that, please leave them at home too. (With a sitter or parent of course.) If the dz allows dogs and kids, then it's not my place to make a scene and complain. I'm a pretty tolerant person and will put up with a lot, but others aren't as forgiving as me. Everyone with dogs and kids should be mindful of that. 22. I recommend the combination of Optima for the audible and AltiTrack for a wrist altimeter. The AltiTrack logs jumps. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
