  1. They randomly match you to someone else, and you both have to agree on what the keyword is in order for it to be applied. You can not see what they are suggesting for keywords so the likelyhood that you both will put in an incorrect keyword is slim to none. Plus the images get shown to more than just you and your partner. So even if the two of you did label a ball to be a toaster, the other 1000 pairs of people probably did it right and labeled it properly. Thus negating the one fluke. 2. Thank you. Well I really liked the black yellow and silver combo which is why I started out with that. What I gather from everyone's comments is having a black center cell is good since it is exposed to dirt the most. I'm thinking about dropping the colors to just black and yellow for my main canopy. I"ll put up an image once I finish playing around with options. I see what you mean about not having a reserve that is similar to the main. I'll talk to my rigger and see what he recommends. 3. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. From what I gather, having a bit more yellow on the jumpsuit will make me more visible to the camera. Is that just overall visibility or being able to pick myself out of a group? Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  5. I'll probably be doing most of my jumping in the southeast, GA, SC, NC, etc. Max average highs in these areas get around 90F. I'm the kind of person who will wear jeans on a hot summer day so I'm not too worried about being hot for a few minutes. However when I do decide to start going out west I think your advice about a cooler color suit is a good idea. Probably at that time I'll look for cheaper suit in a different color. 6. I have a question about gear colors. Within the next year I'll be purchasing new gear including a jumpsuit, main, reserve, and container. I'd like for the colors to match up on everything and therefore been planning out the colors to be used. I'll be purchasing the jumpsuit first so I need to decide in the next month or so. My question is, are there any specific colors or color combinations to avoid? My main concern would be a jumpsuit and/or canopy that may make me less visible to other skydivers. In addition I don't want to be using color combinations that other teams might have "dibs" on. The color scheme I'm leaning towards is black as the dominant color with silver/gray and yellow as accent colors. My suit, container, and main would incorporate all these colors while my reserve would probably be solid yellow. Does anyone see any potential issues with these colors? 9. There was a really crappy show on FOX in the mid 90's called Whoops. That was horrendous. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  10. I'd love to see more seasons as well but I've learned not to get my hopes up when it comes to TV. Too many of the shows I've liked in the past have been canceled without being given time to find an audience. Right now I'd be thankful for a complete season and if it gets picked up for a 2nd then bonus. Btw, has anyone been watching Friday Night Lights? That's another show that is really well done. 14. Thanks for the offer. I'm sure I"ll be hitting you up on that after I do a couple solos. I haven't done my first one yet so I want to get that done as well as one or two more to try and figure out what I need/want to work on. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
  15. This past weekend I completed my level 6 and 7 to graduate AFF. Those were some of my best jumps yet and I had a blast doing the front flips. In fact I did and extra one because I was having so much fun. I want to say thanks to everyone at The Farm for making the entire experience a fun one. I've still got tons to learn and can't wait to get started. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  21. I just completed level 4 and 5 AFF over the weekend. It was a great day out and the weather was fairly warm with stable winds. I wanted to get level 4 right because I was still having some stability issues with my arch on level 3. We got up to altitude and were out the door. When Mike released me my first time I started spinning again just like my level 3. Dammit it thought. Mike stabilized me again and gave me the relax signal. Something just clicked then because after he released the 2nd time I was golden. Everything just felt right. My turns needed work but weren't too bad. Upon opening I had a fun suprise in the form of a wicked line twist. I'm sure it was my first of many to come. I kicked out of that and made it down with a nice stand up landing. Upon review, good exit and need to check arm position for turns. Good for level 5. Level 5 had another fun suprise as well. Upon getting out the door I proceeded to flip on my back. Fortunately I reovered from that quickly and was able to stabilize easily. The 360 turns this time were great. Forward tracking needed work this time as I didn't extend my legs enough. After opening I got a major brain fart and spaced on the landing pattern. I think since all the other jumps had the final approaches in the opposite directeion I just got a bit confused. I at least remembered which way to land and ended up with a weird cockeyed pattern but still managed a good standup landing. I definetly will be studying the landing patterns big time before I jump again. Cleared for level 6. Overall it was a great day and I was pleased with my jumps. I met some new people and had a great time. Hopefully when I jump again in 2 more weeks I'll pass 6 & 7. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  23. I agree. I got a PS2 about 4 months ago and was able to get every game I ever wanted to play on it for about $60. Plus if you wait long enough you can get the next revision of the console that inevitably fixes all the problems with the first version. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793

  25. I remember a buddy of mine had the idea to sell something similar to this to women in bars waiting to go into the ladies room. They could then just go into the mens room instead. Needless to say he didn't think this plan out very well and got kicked out of the bar soon after he attempted his first sell. Muff Brother #4026 Loco Zapatos Rodriguez SCR #14793
