My second cutaway was similar to yours, could not get the entire canopy to inflate... very scary... Jump No. 43 ( on mothers day no less) My first cutaway was from a perfectly good main, when my cypress fired under 1000 feet. I started waifing and looked back realizing all the weight came off my back... Seeing the reserve, still in the free bag flopping around was scary... so i made the decision... watching the main flutter away like a butterfly pretty much convinced me my life was over. It was not much of a delay after the reserve inflated before i touched down.. stood it up but didnt stay standing long What was even scarier was seeing the DZ owner marching over towards me... after he asked about it, and I told him he points a finger in my chest like a cop inquiry... and says "Good job" I still dont know which part was the scariest! you want me to do what???

Like with your skydiving rig? This should work right? if you got drag on a boat should propel some lift with your with brakes set.. obviously the winds would have to be relatively low? anyones have experience? thoughts? you want me to do what???

Perhaps it is in part there is a tendancy for certain personality types to be drawn to these activities, and then they are just the most obvious example cause they are the loudest and noticeable... while the rational people and decent people just kinda fade into the background... You gotta believe most people arent assholes you want me to do what???

Oh believe me, i am mad sending out resumes... just the market here in jacksonville is stingy, and my daughter is here... First I want to thank Mr. B. for making BD happen for everyone and hope he doesnt take all the crap people dish out on this to harshly... its easy to do the 20/20 hindsite on this... Secondly, ten years ago, when i was still a n()()by, and only had 40 skydives, a very scary imposing tandem master assured me that i could BASE there with no problems, and i havent had any problems since... However since then, with all the surging interest there obviously needs to be some minimum requirements, but to say they are more necessary than education is rediculous... You take your life into your hands every time you jump, no one needs to be responsible for you besides you...I think we have enough a$$holes in the sport, we do not need to diminish the memory of someone who seemed to have been a positive influence you want me to do what???
