    Because he was an evil old bigot who somehow managed to garner a fair amount of influence? A lot of his teachings seem to be almost identical to those of Fred Phelps, the guy who pickets soldiers funerals. I'm sure there will be many, many people celebrating when that guy pops his clogs.
