I just came back from San Francisco a few weeks. I would have to tell you that I was not impressed at all with the city. But you should go to Alcatraz. And make sure you visit the Golden Gate park. my twin and I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. I am glad we did not rent the bike. That was the highlight of my vacation.

If you check it make sure you ask them to inspect it before you leave the counter. Make sure you have your x-ray card if you have an AAD. I have not traveled over seas but my x-ray card came in handy!

So she's a dyslexic 72 year! Give her a break, maybe she's not remembering things quit right?! I know the math still does not add up. I didn't realize this thread had been highjacked. I should really read it all before posting.

What's wrong with it? Leave it alone!

Just wanted to share a pic of our new "puppy". She's only 14 months old. She is such a sweetie. She's a pure bred St. Bernard.

would you jump your kid's pack job?
cjsgrlsx3 replied to dropzonejunky's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I don't see a problem with it at all. My daughter enjoys packing and can't wait until I will let her pack mine. I only have 10 pack jobs and want to continue to pack my own. She will be packing mine soon! -
would he be homeless or naked? (I can't take credit for this, I heard it somewhere and wanted to ask the experts.)

Jerry was a good guy! I did my check-dive with him back in August, only 25 jumps ago! He will be missed. http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=15072845

Warning! I am not a doctor!!!! The only time my children had a green discharge from their eyes was from a sinus infection that drained through their tear ducts. Yeah, kind of gross but it has happened a few times. Did the doctor see him before prescribing something?

I love this thread. We are in the same boat. My daughter is "patiently" waiting until she turns 16 to go. And we will make the trip to Raeford to do it! What great pictures! I will show this thread to my daughter.

cjsgrlsx3 replied to cjsgrlsx3's topic in Events & Places to Jump

I will be jumping at Skydive Monterey Bay
cjsgrlsx3 replied to cjsgrlsx3's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I will be making my way to the West Coast for the frst time next month. I was planning on jumping at Moterey Bay on Feb. 23. I will be there all day. After speaking to them on the phone I am set to go! So who wants to jump with a newbie? -
I think it all depends on her. My mother's doctor advised against it to but she did it anyway. She has had two heart attacks a stroke and has a pace maker and defibulator. She did two tandems and loved them. back on topic..........i am a middle child but the youngest is only an hour younger then me. My older brother is four years older then we are but i fit the traits of the first born better.

If you look at the last picture you can see him standing on the beach with a "thumbs up" gesture. (maybe) But these are pictures I hadn't not seen before. -
Yeah, maybe you should make sure SARLDO is not the father. He lives close enough you know!!!lol Beautiful little girl, congrats!

Just a little side note. It's good to jump with different instructors. Every one of them will have something different to teach you.

This is great advise form kelpdiver. I did do practice touches in the tunnel and what a huge help that was. So when I did my Cat A I had no problems with spinning at "pull time". And I should say that the more relaxed you are during your first jump the smoother it will go. Check out my first jump here http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=5375901 (I tried to make it a clicky and it won't go) I credit my instructors for my performance but I'm sure the tunnel time helped!

Mine was also a birthday present, but from my father! Isn't life grand! I just got my license in August and was hoping to make a trip to Orange sometime soon! Congrats and Happy Birthday!

OMG, I was so scared I kept thinking............Maybe I should skip this H&P and do another jump! Larry was sitting at the front on the plane. I think if I had waited too much longer he would have jumped back and pushed me out. Liz must have given me the "Ok it's time to jump signal" a million times! Glad I was able to laugh about it when she landed! It wasn't nearly as bad as I had thought!
