  1. Why wasn't he able to close Guantanamo prison when he controlled congress? Change, no we can't ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  2. What do you expect from a state that spends $60 million on a high school football stadium? Football comes first, education comes ... sometime after that. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  3. Hate to break it to you but there are plenty of heterosexual people who can't or don't reproduce. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  4. ... were "change we can believe in" and "yes we can". So, what is taking so long? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  5. I though the fortune cookie I received today was relevant to the recent discussions. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

    Big suits

It's the lower wing root that covers the handle. Its ability to cover the handle is not based on it's inflation. PS: I've flown a Phantom, Ghost, Vampire, Stealth, and Venom. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

    Big suits

That was supposed to say "... basic acrobatics, backflying, docking". The more comfortable you are throwing your suit around the sky the more comfortable you'll be pulling. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  8. Spoilsport! Indeed, you can fly a perfect, absolutely uniform diamond** with all the lines exactly straight and still not fit the grid if the apex angle is just a few degrees away from 90. Maybe we should all carry protractors on the jumps. ** a diamond as seen on a playing card is not square, but the grid we use is square. These are concerns that I raised at a gathering a couple of years ago. Camera angle, lens distortion, etc... that were all essentially disregarded at the time ... "That looks dangerous." 9. If I were to get a room, what spot in the room should I try to occupy to increase my odds of being safe? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  10. Bad scenario? At no point did I state that it was to represent the real world. Don't blame me that you do not understand that because of your idiocy. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  11. I didn't ask. So I think it's standard now.
  12. Well, just admit you do not understand tactics and the difference between 'real' tactics and paintball tactics. Blah, blah, blah ... just admit you don't understand what creating a scenario is. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

You must have been doing something wrong, very wrong, in your Phantom. Before moving to a V4 or X-Bird could you do basic acrobatics, backflying, acrobatics? Just wonder what your experience was as if you were having trouble pulling in a Phantom ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  14. I can understand why someone who doesn't agree with the USPA's method of verifying wingsuit formation records wouldn't want to attend a wingsuit formation event ... Do you really want to quote Rodney King? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  15. but as noted in my reply, paintball guns are considerably less accurate than handguns or rifles. No rifling, round balls. Makes for a false strawman. I created a scenario and posed a question. Feel free to answer the question replacing the paintball gun with a "real" gun if you can't answer it the other way ... PS: I don't know what barrels you are using but the barrels I used for paintballing were rifled. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  16. I read your biased post. The fact is that it is clear you do not have any idea of tactics used in a firefight. Shooting and hitting someone even with body armor will normally make them run or deal with the threat. It is difficult to engage a target when you are taking rounds. Hitting guy in the body (even with body armor) will make him hurt like hell and allow you to get away, or close the distance. It is clear you do not know tactics beyond a paintball range and tried to create a situation that you thought would not work to prove a point. When presented with data that proves you and your scenario incorrect, you just discount it. Blah, blah, blah ... it's called creating a scenario and posing a question. Feel free to create your own thread, scenario, and question. PS: I used a paintball gun to make it "friendly" for all the anti-gun individuals. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

The P3 is a little better than the P2Z which is a lot better than the P2. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

  19. No, this is the cold sad result of a massive over-reaction an irrational reaction to violence from both sides. Fixed it for you. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  20. I have and am still under the belief that information (positive and negative) should be shared. Can I call a dropzone to find out? Yes. However, if I'm trying to determine the current state of dropzones and wingsuiting then I would have to call every dropzone. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  21. I choose a movie seat for viewing the movie. I do not consider line of fire in my choice of movie seat selection. Careful you don't come across as more paranoid than you really are just to sell the debate. After reading some of the responses I was wondering why some people go out at all ... constantly thinking about who is coming from where to try to murder me might make it hard to enjoy what I'm doing. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  22. I appreciate that you can (and did) read and respond to the original post. It appears that many others either can't or didn't ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  23. Do you not understand that a defensive stand is not the same as hitting a target? Once again, did you not (or can you not) read the first post of the thread. I didn't ask about a defensive stand, I asked about hitting a small target and only the target in a given scenario ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  24. it's a marker, not a gun, and yeah, it's easy. Gimme my old automag and I'll hose the guy down. Upper end markers can throw out some serious paint in short order with plenty of accuracy. Now, change it to an old, singleshot pump, and things get interesting ;) When I used to play in the NPPL it was a paintball gun. You can have whatever marker you want but you only get a limited number of paintballs and I doubt given the situation any of those paintballs are going to hit the target. PS: Why do the pro-gun expect the anti-gun to be realistic in regards to criminals being able to get guns regardless of a ban but the pro-gun won't be realistic in situations like this? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  25. Why is the target small? There's a world of difference between a defensive stand and trying to play sniper with a handgun. Did you not read the first post of the thread? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
