    Perhaps "snag" was the wrong description. I think it was more of just a hard blow to a naked-mounted GoPro as you put it. To add, I wasn't using the little white plug they provide which prevents the release from, well... releasing. I should have known better... I hope this lesson will help to prevent this from happening to someone else. My Drift HD Ghost will be mounted flush via a cookie mount plate on my open face along with my CX-150. No more camera mounts on my full face during inside formation flying. Lesson learned... "Always do right.     The GoPro snag hazard finally caught up to me. Inside 8-way (why I was wearing the camera, I don't know) had my air taken away by a 2 low jumpers before I could react and flipped through, right between them. Snag - Pop - $400+ gone at 7K. Hero 2 w/WiFi backpack and 32GB SD card. I'm done with GoPro for inside (or outside for that matter) video/Pics. Drift HD Ghost enroute. "Always do right.     That was NAS Whidbey Island and that varient is the EA-18G. When I was stationed there, we (NAS Whidbey SAR Team), with the Commanding Officers permission, used to grab pilots on their way to their aircraft and tell 'em they just ejected. We would drive them down to a waiting helicopter and fly them out to the mountains where we would put them through a SAR senerio. If they played nice, they would be kept relitively warm, sort of dry and possibly fed. if not... (insert devious laugh here) well, let's just say they had a really long day.     Thanks guys. Looks like I won't have my own transportation and time will be tight while i'm in Nowra, so it's unlikely i'll be headed up to Picton... but you never know.     I was outside and watched the refelction off the space station as it flew overhead a few minutes before the shutle returned. Although I was expecting the sonic boom, i was still startled by the intensity of it this time. "Always do right.     Hell yea, my life rocks! I just retired after 27 years in the Navy, I landed an awesome job that pays great, I'm healthy, I'm married to the most loving, thoughtful, caring women I have ever met, and to top it off, I jump out of airplanes with some of the greatest people on the planet just for fun.     Simon, I downloaded the 30 day trial of Cyberlink Power Director 9 for use with my CX-150. Easy to use and so far, pretty good tool. Wound up buying the license for it. Dowload videos to external like you did, then suck 'em in to edit. Works like a charm. Slow to render but, probably just my old hp. "Always do right.     I drive 1.5 hrs to Z-Hills and enjoy myself each and every time. I'm closer to Deland and about 1.5 hrs from Sebastian (jumped there once) but keep finding myself going to Z-Hills. Great bunch of folks and never a lack of people to jump with. Give 'em all a try and decide for yourself though. Hell it's Florida... ya' can't lose no matter which way you go. "Always do right.     Exscuse me but, I beg you to reconsider your position on acceptance of anyone besides Honorably Discharged Veterans and Active personnel. Having spent the past 27 years in the Navy and having spent a considerable amount of time and effort during this time to send home those who would not conform to the rules and regulations, I am somewhat offended that I would be grouped with these individuals and collectively considered Vet's. They gave up that title. Otherwise, I applaude the idea and would gladly volunteer to be a central Florida recruiter of skydiving VETS. Blue Sky's, RJB, LCDR, USN Sursum Ab Ordo "Always do right.
