That's my goal...six pack again, and muscle! I didn't dare put my pics up so I sent them to peter, i know people see them sooner or later but I'm already feeling like I can take some better pictures just by pumping up before the photo's. Starbucks, triple grande vanilla latte...seriously addicted. I drank redbull for about six years straight and a year ago I got kidney stones, they didn't really know why I got them but when I told the doc I drank a couple redbulls a day he said that could have been a contributing factor.

I haven't gotten any shit from the friends at the dz, in fact I went to a boogie and didn't drink but brought beer for it being my first boogie, getting my a, and jumping my new rig, everyone was stoked and nobody cared that I didnt' drink, they thought it was cool that I stil brought 3 cases of Heineken. It's the pressure I put on myself to be social around lots of new people without the liquid courage. It's all very new, I haven't had to hang out with a beer in my hand for.....well since I was a freshman in highschool...lol.

it's very hard to be in the non-drinker in the skydiving community, esp at boogies or a new dropzone where you dont' know anyone and need to get social and extend yourself. I don't really have a problem with the drinking and I may have a few down the road but i think for now it's best to stop everything and get healthy. I have alot of friends that get drunk, then do coke to offset being drunk, then drink more followed by more blow, then take valiums or whatever to get to sleep and then take a hand fully of perks to kill the hang over. That's how I did it and in the bar scene you see it alot. I just don't thhink it's worth it and I hope I can set an example for others in that area.

I don't usually tell people this but if it will help someone else then it was worth it. I got in a motorcycle accident a couple years back. They pumped me full of morphine and sent me home with a months supply of perkocet. After they ran out I felt like shit, (withdarwls). I went a couple weeks before I realize that I loved the way I felt when I had opiates in me so I spent the next two years hunting down pain killers. As most of you know, the high goes away and it takes more and more to get you feeling the high. I'm sure I spent thousands. I now am clean and sober and happy about it. It was a hard road for about the first month. I was flu like sick for a week and after that lots of anxiety and hot and cold flashes. Depression is the long term side effect but I can beat that. It's better than hunting down pills. Life is good these days, I just can't wait to start jumping regularly. That's the best drug there is!

I have a friend that is driving to LA from SLC. I can catch a ride with her and have a couple days in Cali sorta car-less but that wouldn't matter if I could just get dropped off at the right DZ. So my question is what DZ? I need to be at one that I can kinda camp at and one that I can get to an airport somehow without costing a shit ton of money for a cab or whatever. Also, what's the jump weather like so I'll know how to pack? THANKS!

I promise you'll be so stoked if you go. It's fairly exspensive here, $14 for a single session, but they offer unlimited monthly passes. The place I go to has a deal for newbies, $20 unlimited for 10 days. Each class is 90 minutes. You will sweat more in that 90 min than you ever have in your life. When your done you feel so energetic and sort of euphoric. Let me know if you go, I would be very curious to see what you think.

I got all excited when your idea first surfaced and I started doing push ups and curls and going to Bikrahm Yoga. For those that don't know what this is, it's yoga in a heated room. For the last week and a half I've gone to the yoga classes and it worked MIRCLES. I lost so much of my gut and started seeing some definition. I need to hurry and binge eat for a coule days to get fat again for the before photo.

that temporary peice of paper will work for for just about anything you need untill you get your shiny new plastic one. and if you tell them your going to vegas and need the real deal they can punch a hole in your old id and give it back to you. nevertheless, fuck the dmv in every state.
