  1. Thanks Jim! I'm honored to have your input. About a month ago I spent a couple days reading the "scary stories from the old days" thread and have since been a huge fan of yours. I'm not sure what the rule of 7's is but seven is my favorite/lucky number. And if by "younger you mean a few years away from 30, you would be correct. I've done alot of reading on 401 k's for the indviual, IRA's and Roth IRA's and Mutal Funds, I have decieded to seek expert advice. After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, I concluded that you get what you pay for in certain field's of expertise.
  2. doing research right now, thanks.
  3. I did some research and I'm ready to start making deposits in Kelly's IRA, just let me know when and where and I'll show you how much!!!
  4. well it's already hard enough to knowingly take away from my jump fund.
  5. So I decided that I need to start saving for my future, I'm just not sure what's out there for some one that is self-employed. I plan on putting $100-$200 away a month. Does anyone have any suggestions in this area?
  6. just buy the same phone or a better cingular phone off of ebay. people upgrade their phones all the time and sell their old ones. I bought a phone from a friend, call and gave them the numbers inside the phone that they needed and had it up and running in a couple minutes, then i got insurance on it and in a little over a week I had a brand new one, (the old one was beat up). good luck up there.
  7. I pray they find her body so the family can begin to heal and I hope they torture and kill the guy that did it. Eye for eye.
  8. Yeah I'm 6'0'' and about 170lbs, and it's a bit to small for me...would fit a 5'8'' - 5'11'' and about 150 to 165 lbs. Well good luck man, I hope you find your gear or catch some fucktard in the act of stealing somthing you can beat them down and feel somewhat vindicated.
  9. What size are you? I bought a older jumpsuit that doesnt fit me, I'll give it to you if it will fit you. If I had an extra helmet or altimeter I would hook ya up.
  10. if you want a trail bike, and something to take you up into the mountains, I suggest a four stroke, I have 03 YZ250 and a 02 YZF426 and both are made to race, jump and go fast. however, fourstrokes have more torqe and you can go slower with less rpm needed to climb, on a two stroke you need to have your rpm's higher and basically be riding harder. there are lots of older four stroke trail bikes for around the same price as a old two stroke and more than likely you won't need to work about a engine rebuild on four stroke, but be prepared to atleast the top end if you buy a two stroke. Also there are strick laws coming into effect on noise and emiosions of two strokes, the are essentially beginning to be phased out. you might have to buy a new spark arrester for whatever bike you get if it's older. not sure if any of that helped and or made sense, i am in a hurry. good luck.

    Why

the real question should be why does that bother you? or better yet, why does it bother me that it bothers you?
  13. it just sucks that there's not alot of options when it comes to used skydiving gear.
  14. that call that cocaine at the bar I work at. twenty bucks and your ready for round two!
  15. Damn, I really want to take a canopy control class!! Thanks for the extra motivation!!
  16. good for you. when I was doing my AFF there were a couple of youngers guys like myself that were just off ofstudent status and next thing I knew they had nice new rigs, jumpsuits, fancy helmets and electrionic alt. I must say I was so envious. I wanted that bad but I couldn't afford it, It was a big motivating factor though, I picked up extra shifts and did as much work as possible for about three months. I just though about how stoked I would be when I had all my own gear and can jump whenever I have an extra $20 or so. This year is going to be great! YOu should also keep your eye open for jobs waiting tables at nicer resturants and maybe even try and work your way in a barback so that you can become a bartender. The money is better, quicker and the job itself is a little less demeaning (sp?) Good Luck man, your hard work will pay off in the long run!
  17. Brad Pitt would be fun, I wouldn't pass up the chance to see life threw his eyes.
  18. Thanks Kel, I was just beging to forget about that. I'm glad your back! I'm hoping to get the body back to that shape soon, the other part is still the same size though!
  19. How to catch a polar bear. First you cut a hole in the ice. Next you line the hole with pea's. Then when the Polar Bear comes to take a pee.... you kick it in the ice hole. It's a better joke to hear than to read.
  20. My vote is for kidney stones. I can usually handle pain but that night in the ER, I'll never forget. It's not the passing of the stones that's the painful part, it's the stones path from the kidney to the urinary track. The stones are like barbs and you feel the intense pain in waves. After that, pissing blood threw a screen is the easy part. But after hearing what Tom A. and Gawain have been through, kidney stones are a walk in the park. My hat is off to you both.
  21. Freak might be too strong of a word, I could be wrong though. Maybe your just very eclectic. What other things have you counted? It doesn't surprise me however, that your relationship with your brother is strained.
  22. If you have a Costco around, go there and buy a tub or two of Otis Spunkmeir cookie dough balls. They are perfect for making large amounts of fresh baked cookies, and they taste better than home made! Fast, Cheap, Easy and Delicious!!!
  23. I used to wake my last girlfriend up and sometimes even myself up laughing in my sleep.
