Beautiful, consistent openings. Powerful flare and light toggle pressure. Everything I love and want in a tandem main. Job well done aerodyne. I love this tandem canopy.
  4. move the stills to the front of the helmet. cx100 on the left and the flash on the right. the cord will run inbetween the flash and the vid to the top of the stills. i have a quick release for my flash. schmacker. what i did was took a small piece of carbon fibre and mounted it to the quick release. i used the foam pad to space the flash from the carbon fibre. i secured it all down with a buckle strap. i can remove the flash from my helmet in 1 second and not have any straps or loose crap on my head. ill post a pic when i can. change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  5. pitch and hope deal with problems if needed. clap and thumbs up congrats to who ever did the jump turn off video camera and stills turn to dz in breaks , most of the time im already headed home after opening... thumb loops slidder chest strap take a second look and traffic breaks and set up to swoop. change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  6. our dzo is anything but lazy. i would have to say he ranks among the best. what im trying to get at is safe and reasonable standards for TANDEM VIDEOS. there are standards for every other form of contact skydiving and Im trying to figure out the norm without pissing anyone off. or starting a fight. everyone deserves a piece of the pie, dont misunderstand. but everyone should be held and have to start from the same point. you dont see a person packing tandem rigs that have 200 sport pack jobs but you might see then flying a tandem video with 200 jumps????? i love my dz and want a safe and relaxed year with the fewest accident and problem as possible. thanks everyone. change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  7. does anyone know what cameras sony has made in the past that have the super laser link feature. i emailed sony and they were total useless in this matter. any old camera fliers out there have one or know thanks in advance jeff change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  8. our dzo doesnt want anything to do with the video or tandem . he wants a smooth running machine. on that note he will allow a peorson that has no experience jump on a paid load instead of doing spec videos. thus burning the toes of the 2 full time and 5 weekend video flyers that have paid their dues and time in. what r the requirements your dz has for vidiots.?? anyone have a list? thanks change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  9. have any other professional tandem photographers had problems on their dz with every one wanting to do tandem videos. we are second year with a turbine and now there are starting to be arguments about jumps and money and whos who and headaches....im sure its happened before. what have been remedies for this and what do other dz have a minimum requirements. do most dz have aminimum 500 jump and c lisence and ..... any feedback would be awesome change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  10. to all who might know the differnce between the sony pc9 and the sony pc1000. all I know is I can get a pc9 for $200 and a pc1000 for like $800 is the difference of $600 really worth it at a tandem mill. thanks change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  11. hello to all my fellow skydivers. I recently wrote a post regarding my experience with my Vision 150 canopy and Aerodyne. After the ball was dropped, they fully took responsibility for this.....they have made every effort in this matter to make it right. The canopy flies, opens and lands amazing now and I would will again recommend the Aerodyne products to my fellow jumping friends. They have now put people in place..locally to handle rigging and testing so the delays are almost nothing. I would like to make this clear to all that have either responded to my post or read what I had to say... I love the Aerodyne product...I think that it is one of the best made and designed gear on the market. I have nothing bad to say about the staff at Aerodyne. This was a simple "fell thru the cracks". The shots I took were made in anger at the situation and I hope I have not left a bad taste in anyones mouth. Again I would like to thank everyone at Aerodyne for making this right and I hope to meet all of you this winter in Tampa when our Canadian group goes down the Z Hills. Blue Skies to all. Jeff. change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  12. now that I have calmed down Karl I agree with most of the posts left here. Every company does have growing pains and to date I have never meet anyone that is perfect. I thank you for dealing with your product and I truely do love the Aerodyne product. What can I say other that shit happens. The reason for the decline of the demo canopy is it was winter in Canada and I hate the cold. but yes you did offer the demo canopy and I did decline. I wish you a great summer season and when I recieve my Vision back you will be the first to know about the new line set. Blue Skies Karl and everyone down at Aerodyne. change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
  13. I sent my vision down to Aerodyne in January to have a reline done. Aerodyne have some issues with there canopies on opening line twists and diving canopies. They were aware of this and said they could fix it. this is a line set issue. I fly a camera and did not want to deal with this problem on top of all the other stuff I have to deal with. It took them 5 months..,,...yes 5 months to do a line set and when I asked them to send the canopy this past wednesday air mail so I could jump it. what do they do???? these idiots send it ground and I will not see it for another 2 weeks. This will bring the total time to almost 5 months 2 weeks for a line set. like alot of other skydivers I do not have the luxury of a second rig or canopy so I have had to rent one from my DZ. extra money out of the pocket. I talked to them over the last couple of months asking for a status report and I got lies. I was told your canopy is done and we are sending it back to you or we are waiting for the lines or let me get back to you.......That was 3 months ago. If you are planing on buying any aerodyne product...I strongly not reccomend it. not because there products are bad...I like them, but because of the customer service. I rate their customer service at an all time -10%. They have dropped the ball badly and I feel the people that dropped it are the people that run this company. I wonder if this was an isolated inncident or if this happens on a regular basis. I will never buy another Aerodyne product as long as I live and if anyone asks I will be the first to tell you about the incompetence I feel for this company and how they treat there fellow skydivers. change your break lines. for the love of your femurs.
