  1. Just a note: We are looking at property in paso, and the realtor said that she has a client that is trying to start a DZ at the paso robles airport. here's hopeing! B.
  2. How much altitude are they giving you. I jumped the 727 at Quincy some years back and they only gave us 6000' Blue ones
  3. HI Guys.... Bought a new rig (i know.. case of beer) and need a new jumpsuit. I'm 5' 10'' and 215lbs. My favorite suit that i've owned was an old Dive Rite with swoop cords. I like the swoop cords a lot because I could slow myself pretty well when approaching a formation. I've solved a lot of my "going Low" problems in the tunnel but not all. Anybody jump the Swoop suit from Tony? Any other Ideas? Thanks Brian
  4. Common folks! Has nobody seen the movie "Dropzone"! Wesley Snipes could swoop, land on buildings, beat up other big guys at boogies, talk in freefall, and do demo jumps onto the whitehouse lawn after an 8 way! and this was all in his first week! Heck, if this movie was longer he'd a caught up to Gary Bussey in no time! The real reason is that people of color are discouraged from jumping by the little known AFF INSTRUCTOR"S UNION After seeing that movie they figured, " if this is any indication of the future... we're out of a job!
  5. Happy Skburthday! My first jump was out of the old beach 18 at the old old hinkley. Before we borded someone said to the pilot "hey, your engine is leaking oil" The pilot said "well that's the thing with these old round engines... If they ain't leakin' there's something wrong with em!" The other guy then said "well in that case... there's something wrong with the other engine!" Happy B-day and many many more. B.
  6. I learned at SDC and later started jumping at skydive chicagoland. My firs jump was at the old hinkley dropzone now called skydive Chicagoland. The Vibe is great, the place is new, clean, and state of the art. Safety is the best in the area and an Otter to boot. Go there, You'll love it. B

    Sabre

I bought a Saber 150 while still on student status, I put about 160 jumps on it and I liked it a lot. I've heard a lot about hard openings but I never experienced any that were not my fault. I have a Saber 2 now. Brian
