I washed my Talon in cold water and my rigger (whom i've used before), said they had a helluva time repacking my reserve. My main canopy fits tighter than usual too. This hasn't been a problem in the past. Is it possible that my container would have shrunk? Has anyone else had this happen?

This WAS NOT directed as a personal attack. If everone read my initial post, it wasn't directed at anyone but a new jumper. I didn't/don't want to point fingers at anyone. But I was asked to explain my post. I did. This post was initiated because a friend of mine low-turned into the ground and now has a long road ahead of her. Wing loaded about the same. Hopefully this is not the end of her skydiving fun.

Reading another post in another forum, i see (AND I HOPE I'M WRONG) that we have a jumper with 50-100 jumps with a new canopy with a wing loading of 1.35 WTF! . I can only hope that their profile isn't updated.

Sent them an e-mail over a week ago. No response as of yet. A friend had same problem a couple of month's ago. Has anyone else had the same problem? Maybe they're too busy(sic) to answer future 'wannabe' customers.

I'm thinking (bad thing to do) that since most container mfrs offer double wide leg pads, that there must be a good reason for them. Comfort is my guess. Since I don't have skinny buttocks, it's all about comfort. I'll be looking into the larger walrus teeth as well as a bungee strap.

Wondering if there are any Freeflying improvements that can be made to my Talon dom 11/95. My biggest concern is main pin protection. The pin covering flap has two small walrus teeth. I'd also prefer wider leg pads. Thoughts/suggestions?

The 1st thing I bought was a gift certificate off Ebay for a tandem jump (my 2nd) at The Ranch. Saved $50. Haven't been able to save a dime since then.

There will always be another day to jump. Skydiving with an already broken hand in conjunction with the meds you're taken is an unnecessary risk. Even the slightest delay in your motor skills can lead to problems. Good luck.

Soft housings are still allowed, but don't be surprised when your rigger and other jumpers tell you that you should have hard housings installed. Kit from RI was $20 usd last year when i got mine, plus whatever your rigger charges to install them.
