My brother did the sound on this series and won an emmy for his work.....needless to say I watched it vigilantly when it was released to hbo and then bought the mini series....found it very interesting and learned a lot about that era that I had no idea that even existed.... Doc and I have a function in the tri- cities on thursday...so if you fly in on thursday early or early friday we can accomodate you. I can get you back to the airport anytime on monday....but as you know a little later is better. Kris, this is a great post...... As you know, Doc and I live this everyday and it is one of the toughest things that we go through with the families. It tears us up too - your dealing with family in crisis and if people don't have things written down our hands are tied. Not only that but it allows the family to know what should be done and what is wanted - in the end that is important so you don't have kids or siblings trying to sort things out in time of crisis. Well said...everyday is a gift ---- For me, life totally changed in the my late 20s, I had a lot of angst and anger through my childhood and younger adulthood. I have definitely chilled over the last 10 years ---- I suppose a large part of it is due to having someone that I share my life with that truly accepts me for who I am...the good, the bad and the ugly --- of course it could just be the boobies too.
