  1. Hi Jeff, I have a Mirage MX with less than 50 jumps on it. While I love the rig I was consistently having off heading openings and line twists on low speed openings until I started released the riser covers prior to exit. Since then no more issues. I did send an email into Mirage support asking about availability of Magnetic riser cover mods. Hope this helps your info gathering. Grant
  2. I did also find worn loops due to the rough edge left on a racer. Of course it also looked like the loop had not been replaced for several pack jobs. Speaking with RiggerRob, I suggested it may be button-holed like on a shirt with no hot-knife in use during manufacturing.. Has anyone heard of the manufacturers trying this technique instead? Grant
  3. Something to consider as well is that PD does not recommend Psycho packing their canopies, there are some design considerations involved that affect your openings which are best controlled using a PRO pack. Go to the PD website for detailed info. I used to psycho pack because I found it easier, however once I took the time to really learn the PRO pack I never looked back. RTFM.. Read That Fine Manual. G
