  1. i know of at least 2 safire2s that blew up at SDC. rental gear. one was so loud i swore it was a gunshot. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  2. It only has relevance when manufacturers rules only matter in the US. Those rules dont apply/arent used in other countries. Its not a standardized system. Maybe it should be, but its not. UPT says that i should have a D to jump with tandems. Thats what i am working toward. Aussie rules dont require it. If they wish to jump here they most meet our requirements. Why are some holding them to our rules in thier home country? That is all. Carry on. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  3. Stop me if im wrong. Arent manufacturers ratings only valid in the US? As far as i understand NZ, AUS can do whatever they want with tandem equipment. Not saying its right or wrong. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  4. i love this guy. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  5. this one has a better perspective. notice the inflatable walls are collapsed. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  6. hmmm. if this is a similar setup i have seen flyers 15-20ft above the walls without the aid of wings. there is a crew traveling the U.S. with one of these mobile "tunnels" representing ARMY, Dos Equis, and other corporate sponsors. i have flown it in as well as my kids and the air is quite turbulent. still fun, but not a real training tool. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  7. thanks Jumpsjonno thats perfect. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  8. ditto except i would rather a US source. i have found some snowboard parts but most of those have the large profile ratchet. thanks stefan the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  9. im starting a build for a hc-52 top mount box. i have a general idea of what i want to do but am confused on how to wrap my plug without getting any creases in the cloth. do you wrap all six corners at once leaving all seams on the bottom? do you have to make relief cuts in the cloth? thanks for any info and please feel free to pm me. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  10. damn. so i owe for my first demo. thats going to cost me. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  11. you could always buy a new canopy, that would help. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  12. optima the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
  13. SDC offers this program but its getting late in the year (cold) in my opinion. the diamond can not be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials.
