Thanks a lot, yes I already did the pul test on 3 cells top skin and pass great, also I check those SB about bartacks and is OK and the canopy is in very nice shape, probably never used.

What about the 22 lbs on the reserve handle with cones?, or with a bulky packjob?, service bulletins on cones? More easy to bent pines?, prevent premature openings for loop failure in large troop military jumps?

I just pack a PR 160, comes with number 4 links stainless steel, wichard, safe working load 621 lbs x 4 = 2484 lbs, this reserve can handle some forces more than 3000 during TSO tests???, so my question is how much is the maximum load that #4 links resist before fail, also PD uses in some models ( like the reserve manual said) #5 links, 990 lbs safe working load.

Then you might need two altimeters, two AADs, two helmets, two audibles, two mains, etc.
Also today most of the accidents are under beautyfull fully inflated canopys .....
Keep it simple!, the parachute for idiots is not ready yet, I heard this one time from Bill Both mouth.
Keep jumping and you will understand soon why a second reserve is not an option..

Tanks Terry for your info, do you have more specif about the Strong machine , I would like to know if that kind of aparatus with aaltimeter can meet the 125 Pascales or .5 inch of water differential, I think the regular altimeter are not the right tool to meet that.

Hello I want some feedback on this, Im working on a very portable ( lets say a pelican case 1500) permeability machine to measure in betwen 0/30 CFM (cubic feet minute) on reserves, the final cost I think probably will be something similar to one AAD (uss1500), how many rigging lofts or riggers will be interested to get one?

The comercial Brands are huge, heavy and expensive (9k uss)

1- Horseshoe malfunction, very easy to solve if you use the PC packing Brian Germain method that permits PC goes out alone.
