  2. I am 6'4" and around 220 lbs without gear, and it goes very well
  3. I saw that machine when I go on tea to my neighbor!

  5. You don't actually know what caused your "dump". It may have been that the rubber bands were already broken - it can easily happen while your rig is packed and you won't even know it, or the bands may have broken while the bag was lifting off the container. That is why I am such a big advocate of tube stows for the critical locking stows, because they are so much more resistant to breaking. Anyway, I think if you're going to use rubber bands, what is important is appropriate tension. My rig required large bands, single wrapped because the canopy was a little bit large for the d-bag. To say that you can't use single wrapped large bands with the typical small diameter lines nowadays is to not recognize all that contributes to the proper tension. Actually, I know! I was stupid, I newer ask someone experienced about my doubt with rubber bands and too much space around lines / almost no tension! I don't know how many times I jump like this, before I have reserve ride, but I know that I was wondering how strange/hard openings I have!!! Now I know
  6. Actually there is excellent video document about packing PD canopies. Gay from PD (Scott Miller) at 36:45 said that if you use large rubber bans you need to wrap it twice!!! Link was posted at DZForum http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3122872;search_string=packing%20video;#3122872 I use this method, large bands, double wrapped, single wrapped for locks because it is tight enough due to canopy and container size. Never experience problem because of that, and hope it will stay as is:) backwards, long time ago I have very ugly line dump > line twist (and nice reserve ride) because of single wrapped rubber bands. Simple, you can not use single wrapped large rubber bands on nowadays tinny lines.
  7. I have no doubt that you will find a solution
  8. Thanks to all for this really great event. It is one of the biggest ws comp, but I like to see more results over 3000m. I am little sad because my friend from last year did not show up, so we didn't exchange suits this year. I was with new toy and I am sure that he like to try it. Hope to see all of you next year. Glide ratio falling down proportional to beer amount consumed night before :)) Pergar Bozidar
  9. Yes, results from Marl is like from other planet. I also like to see that best track, it is impressive. Here is my best track from Hungary2009. There is really calm conditions, I give my best (115 kg exit weight, Stealth-2), average speeds are around v60/h160 km/h.I fly without initial dive to speed up. In Hungary, they measure from 3000-1500m, so I check it in Marl rules (3000m-2000m) and found 2.82. Maybe someone can put this result in distant challenge list, I think that it is good result. Kapos DZ is at 160m ASL. I hope I try myself in Marl next time.
  10. Don't get wrong about this new suit! It is completely different design then Stealth (yes, they have same name but IMO it is only common attribute). Great forward speed and distance is no problem with this suit...
