  1. Of course your right. I do have a mind of my own ya know It seems that one line drew alot of response. I dont think it is spoken out of context, and it is still something I believe and keep in mind. I dont want to shout the return of Christ is coming becasue of an earthquake, and I think you know that. All Im saying is that how many times are we going to continue to say that same thing? There will be an end, and I think I know you hate that I believe that (hate is a strong word, but you know what I mean), but, soon means inevitably. I ask this question because I am seriously curious to know how far the signs will have to go before people start giving an ear? I dont want the end of the world to come, but that doesnt mean it wont... not only that, I think I have experinced that the greatest things happen when you least expect so. Basically, I dont want to expect the end of the world, but how do i know it is going to be as bad as it sounds? You know, death just may invite us into a world no eye has seen, no ear has heard. Im not going to give up on that hope. To be honest, I dont have a reason to... that is, with all these extrememly intelligent people on these forums, no one has made a dent... respectively. Im no different than anyone else on these SC threads. Everyone is sharpening their own belief and challenging what they believe in a very real, intelligent, and educated forum. To which everything said can be, and is, held accountable. You may remember that I did come to a revelation about homosexuality on these forums, amongst other things, but I havent been here long, and ultimately it is understanding that can/should prevail here. Now, you didnt have to read all that, but it is written anyway. It seems there is plenty of inspiration in the forums on dz.com... who wouldve guessed This is a very good point. 2. Well your absolutely right about that. And, your right about earthquakes. However... As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" 4Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,[a]' and will deceive many. 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 15"So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation, let the reader understand So, Ill say it again... how many signs do we need? And you will say, "but these things have been happening since the beginning ect"... becasue you cant hear the question I am asking. Why not just say that the what Jesus is saying in the Gospel has been happening for centuries, and is still happening? Or is it just a coincidence that he said this... so that he could be followed and admired by many to come after him... of course, after he is horrifically crucified and spat upon that is. Why would anyone want to be the bearer of this message? Why would anyone want to speak the truth in thier heart to the entire world of hungry and ravishing wolves just waiting to devour? Tell you what. Find a TV camera crew and expose to them every secret you carry... reveal everything... I mean all the dirt. Then you will see how the world responds to truth. "We didn't start the fire"
  3. I am glad that you found life outside of God. Of course you know already that you could be wrong, but that is of no importance now. You are right, it seems you did leave the faith. You are right as far as me being lower class, and uneducated... at least not in school anyway. You are right in that alot of the reasons you stopped believing are reasons many use. You are right that God is being pushed out of our lives and you are right that many people dont uderstand the advancements of math, science, ect... You are right on so many levels here... or at least it sounds like it. Since you have read the Gospel, and know it well, then you also know that God has hidden the Kingdom of Heaven from the wise and the learned, and revealed it to the little children. All my faith and all my hope is in love. I would hardly begin to say that I havent investigated love enough to be inspired by it. Perhaps the investigation you speak of extends beyond the borders and limitations of those who only respond to evidence? Some people are not designed to believe, but look at what many of those people have done in the advancements of the technologies, philosophies, politics, communities and civilizations, in the world. Many of them are also responsible for the very things powerful enough to destroy us and the planet we live on. You were in the Navy, so, you obviously took CBRNE (not sure if thats the acronym) training for chemical, biological, and nuclear warfare. For a guy lobbying against God and for man, you sure put your faith in an ironic paradigm. Respectively. I will continue to believe in man, because I know man is of God, however, I will also keep my "armor" on if that is okay. "We didn't start the fire"
  4. Im not really certain how anyone can percieve the anti Christ has already come. The Gospel is quite clear that he will be a man of marvelous powers... he will enbody the actual brilliance, defiance, and power of the dark authorities. He will be man vs. God with power thought impossible. In otherwards, he wont be very difficult to spot for those who know he is coming. But for those who do not know, he will be the savior of the world, and many will follow him. I dont like discussing prophesy as much with non-believers, but I do think it is funny that the "audience" stays much more in tuned if your speaking about Nostradamus or the Mayan civilization. Nevertheless, this is the Gospel... it is not my message, but the message of Jesus Christ. As far as the anti Christ is concerned, the bible says that his spirit is already in the world, and I agree. But manifested through one man yet... not even close. Some close ones would be Stalin or Hitler, but they were merely decieved by the deciever. The actual deciever will be much more powerful and his message will be like a thornless rose in a babys hand with the sweetest aroma. The fact that many Christians will not obey or listen to him will enrage those who have been fully decieved by it his message... then the real persecution is said to begin. According to the Gospel. Dont think so? Just look at what Hitler alone was able to do, and he is not the anti Christ, not even close. "We didn't start the fire"
  5. Im afraid my revelation of God was much more astonishing. God is spirit, he is not a man, or a guy. We have a heart that can be inspired by his spirit, but only God can reveal God. And yes, that which created you loves you. God is the spirit of freindship. "When two or more get together in my name, there I will be". The logic is as simple and complex as love. Love is not always logical is it? But the simplicity of it does work, and, does feel quite natural. Calling love a sadist inspiration is fair for those who dont believe in its everlasting power. Im my life, I have seen love destroy me and bring me back to life. It is quite powerful and more often than not, illogical and irrational... but very very real. Im sorry man, I dont know what a cultural anthropoligist is. Id like to know though. However, if you specialize in religion, you can attest that the Gospel sums up pretty nicely the love in other religions. God himself dying for his loved ones so that they might have a taste of a hope-filled life. See, what is so amazing about this message, is that it is sealed in the blood of love. Not even time can un-crucify Jesus. There will always be those who belong to this message. "We didn't start the fire"
  6. Agreed. Believe it or not, I am actually looking forward to when people start removing God from their lives. Its already happening. All this is prophesied, except you show more tolerance than the prophesy speaks of. Growing hatred toward Jesus is a sign, according to the Gospel. Besides, putting a cross in my front yard, and fighting to ensure my children get to keep God in their schools, and God on their money (of all things this is the most ridiculous), has nothing to do with being a Christian. "Fighting" the spirit of the anti Christ is not what Jesus teaches me anyway. Understanding the times however, is something my faith leads me to do. To quote Jesus, "Such things must happen, but the end is still to come." I have stated several times that I dont get involved in politics. Call me apoligetically apathetic if you will, but the worlds politics were never built to survive. How can they? They are primarily focused on the power and influence of man. Take the cameras away and the tactics in politics change. Have you ever seen me in a SC politics thread? Anyway... History has shown us that we dont do a very good job of learning from those gone before us. We say the same things they did, "I want a better life for my family"... "the world may be better without God"... "we have a more intelligent mind for peace" ect... But, the truth is actually quite ironic. Peaceful communities try to enforce peace at some point... with or without belief in God. America will completely shed its Christian heritage/influence as it relates to politics... and will become the Godless nation it is prophesied to be (many are not as tolerant as Nightingale). I doubt, at that point we will be the dominant world influence, as we are already losing ground as a nation of freedom, power, and peace, and we are being fashioned by the media (us) into a predominantly hostile country under a blanket of good deeds... in the eyes of many in the world that is. Its no secret that much of our politics got us to where we are today... is it??? However, America will be represented by the spirit of the anti Christ wherever he makes his home. (The Gospel says Jerusalem). He (AC) will bring peace to the world... and naturally, as all peaceful communities have, he will turn and begin to enforce his Godless ideals. He is not called the "Abomination that causes Desolation" for nothing. Now, just becasue America will inevitably eliminate Jesus from its politics, doesnt mean that you will be able to eliminate Jesus from the hearts of those still living here. God is very clear in the Gospel... grow closer to him, or further away. He gives us what we want. If you want a life without him, thats what he will give you, if you want a life with him... I say hold on tight, becasue you are in for the ride of your life. All of you need to at least read some of the prophesy... as so many are "preparing" for 2012 based on predictions believed more than the prophesies of Jesus, you may just be walking on the wrong side of the truth. I dont get it really. I stand for a message of love, and in the world of hypocrites, that is not always an easy thing. So many hear the words of the hypocrite, but few actually hear the message of Jesus. I am not only speaking of non-believers. I dont know if we will remember who we are/were when we leave here, but I do know that we will become part of a voice... a voice that speaks through the living and the dead. "We didn't start the fire"
  7. I dont claim to be any certain type of Christian. I dont understand where alot of the denominations get their "separation", but they are there nonetheless. I am simply a beleiver in what I heard. No offense at all, but I dont think that it is absolutely necessary to sift through all lies to find a truth. Im not talking about what I believe is truth, im talking about truth in general. Coincidentally, love is a great example of this. You dont always need to "play the field" to find love. I do agree with what you say about our surroundings. But our surroundings encompass a great deal of indirect influence as well. We dont always get our beliefs from our immediate surroundings, but from influence in general... and contrary to popular belief, everything is connected in some way. Alot of your post has to deal with oppression, and no, I do not agree with oppression. However, for me to tell you that I would not be a Muslim if I was born in a Muslim country is also not a truly fair statement. Because, first of all, its a hypothetical, second, im my mind, I tend to agree with you. But it doesnt address the fact that some Muslims, even some Jewish Israelites have taken firm stands in Christianity in the face of grave persecution. Its not that people dont agree with the Gospel, its just that alot of them havent heard, or understood it. Chances are if you really knew the heart of the Gospel, you would agree it is something very beautiful and good. As it is, either you have read one, and you still dont agree with what Jesus is saying, or, you havent read one and you are basing your doubt on the intrepretainons of others. Sort of like the blind leading the blind... but not really. Its just that, trying to understand the Gospel from people who dont understand it themselves is like yeast in bread... a little goes a long way... unfortunately. So, while I think many of you would follow Jesus if you met him, I am also aware that hypocrisy keeps people from wanting to. There is alot of hypocrisy in the churches... not all churches... but the commercialized ones for sure. I never hear people confessing sins and being united in their weakness through the strength of Grace. But, bonds such as those are happening, just not on the global commercial level. More like 2-10 people in a small room coming together in the name of Christ, or a grass hut in Africa... ect.. Just a fundamental flaw in knowledge. Jesus didnt reform Judaism. It wasnt that he wasnt satisfied. The Gospel is the fulfillment of the Jewish faith. He came to fulfill the promise of grace. One of the amazing things about the Gospel is that Jesus was prophesized for centuries before he actually appeared. That truth cannot be ignored if you ask me. The age of the books alone and the content of the pre-King James versions of the bible can attest to that historical fact quite clearly... in every single book... and yes, even in the Koran. Fascinating to say the least. I want to respond more, as I sense sincerity in your posts, but there is alot of content in there and right now I just dont have the time. For everyone else who thinks I am just hitting back and pulling the trigger too fast... this is merely a discussion. One that yes, people have fought over before, but we still have at least one thing in common over most... we still are skydivers, and theres no hard feelings here. "We didn't start the fire"
  8. Not that it matters, but isnt this closer to agnosticism? As am I. However, I still maintain that there are things we are not supposed to understand, and that is also a trait of humbleness. There will never be evidence enough for someone to believe. Even if God himself came down, again, to "convince" _you_ many would still deny. Because God is not found by seeing miracles, he found in faith. There is little evidence to believe that a marriage for me will last, but I still believe it is possible, given the strength and perseverance of love. Giving this world another 1000 yrs might be a little optimistic... given the current climate of evil. But I understand the direction of what your saying. I dont know if you have actually read a Gospel, but for me, nothing has ever spoken to me the way it did/does. Your right, it is quite convincing to say the least. Yeah, I dont particualrly like bashing other beliefs. I guess im a little more tolerant than some in that regard. But a religion is about truth.. and as human beings, we have a connection with truth. If someone takes one belief as true, or even a non belief as true, then that is truth to them. Still, after everything I have heard, read, thought, Jesus is truth to me. Now, I am not in control of truth, and believe it or not, neither are you... but, truth is in control, and it seems to guide people in different ways. That is its perogative. "We didn't start the fire"
  9. Sometimes our denial involves us whether it is seen or not. Nevertheless, I like your post, but there are some things a little array. The message wasnt be good to one another, the message is love. There is a difference. It does suck that the message gets abused, but I can understand why, and even how, and i just try to steer clear of those who claim to have understood it, but didnt. Branches of the main message provide warnings against hypocrisy, self-rigtheousness, conceit, spiritual theives, and the spirit of the anti Christ. And I dont need the bible to show me those warnings are not given in vain. So the message may have been tampered with, abused ect... but the truth is manifesting on this earth quite clearly as it relates to the Gospel. I gather your speaking of similarities between Jesus and Buddha? I dont think it is a coincidence that Jesus told his Apostles to stay out of the province of Asia. It is clear that God filled the Buddha with wisdom and even knew its desired application. Still, I have found nothing in lessons of goodness in Buddhism that are not found in the Gospel. There is a difference in the fundamentals of both faiths. Buddha was enlightened to life, and Jesus is life. This is in no way an attack on Buddhism, just an observation of the difference in fundamentals of the two faiths. "We didn't start the fire"
  10. It is funny to me that a little humble man, 2000 yrs ago, made such an uproar in the established world authorities that they considered him such an imposition, and threat, on their reign. He must have had quite a following for the Armies of Rome and the so-called Holy Jewish teachers of the law to want him crucified. I believe there was/is something very special about Jesus... I dont think, even if I were an atheist, that I could completely overlook his impact on the earth and dismiss everything he stood for as easily as many of you seem to do. So, silly or not, maybe there was something supernatural about this man? Maybe he did know things that are out of this world. Maybe he did actually raise the dead, heal people, and speak life into the hearts of those who would listen. With as powerful a "man" as Jesus is, we have many today who look at that power and call it silly, rather than even coming remotely close to seeing the silliness in themselves. Dismissing all possibiltiy that there is no wisdom beyond that of human intelligence is the line of thought many of you appear to follow? Now most of you accuse us of taking things on faith, but you do the same things, dont you? Except you dont call it faith, you call it fact... that just doesnt sound right to me. At the very least, you dont know. You could at least accept that possibility, but you dont (seemingly) How can a man, who is part of the "creation" of the ever moving universe understand with pure certainty that there is nothing more wise? Especially with how much wisdom life in general shows us over and over again. Survival alone shows us a great deal of wisdom. Not just knowledge, but the wisdom to adapt and survive. But if survival is the main purpose of life, I dont think we are doing a very good job given our supposed superior intelligence, do you? Perhaps there is something more to the purpose of life? The more I think about things, the more I wonder what lifes actual purpose is. What good are we for the planet? If life drifted in space with the ever adaptive principles that sustain its very survival, why has it evolved into something so great that it actually has the power, and the will, to destroy not only its inhabited enviornments, but itself as well? So, the purpose of this evolved life, as science seems to hint, is simply to survive, flourish, consume, destroy, and move on... all with purely organic objectives and little to no give on even the possibilities that there could be more, much more. Doesnt really seem fair to the one searching for objectiveness, as proud atheism boasts, does it? "We didn't start the fire"
  11. I tend to agree with you, but there are indeed facts about Jesus that continually get overlooked in these forums, and since many non-believers are people of purely fact, it seems appropriate to at least set the facts straight as they apply to the Gospel. I still contend that I am not the ones starting theses threads, however, I seem to enjoy them a great deal... aparently. Plus, it does help time go by at work! I think people just like discussing matters of spirituality vs non-spirituality. And given a forum like this one, they should be able to right? I dont think any of us decided to go on Dz.com and implant ourselves into the spirituality threads, but, in researching skydiving, we found this little community, and, a place in the community as well. I think people in these forums like to think alot, and, like to write, alot... so if anything, regardless what the discussion is, at least it can be theraputic for those who do like to think and write. Anytime someone doesnt see things your way it can be quite frustrating, nevertheless, connections and common ground can often be found deep in that frustration... whether your attempting to connect with someone or not. Few of us have actually met (speaking for myself) and I think given the opprotunity to meet, we would see that we are indeed very similar in our uniqueness. I dont think anyone is trying to belittle, in fact I think most of the "shots" that are taken are taken out of frustration more than an implied "malice"... but thats one of the great things about this forum... venting about what is not understood is a good thing, at least it is closer to the truth than trying to "win" an argument. "We didn't start the fire"
  12. I guess we just ponder different questions. "We didn't start the fire"
  13. Edit cause I may have misunderstood your post the first time-- if I took your post right? are you saying, in context, that Christianity had little to no impact on your decision to be an atheist "We didn't start the fire"
  14. It is an emotional crutch, and then some, and I do lean on it alot. I dont think I mind saying that I needed help when I found Christ, and I still do. Your right about fear. It seems to be quite prevalent in me, but it is also something that I am working on. Your right about shame. There are things I am ashamed of but try not to admit openly. So yes, I guess I am an emotional person... but it is our surroundings that inspire us into those emotions, so, everything sort of came together in a way for me to at least pick up a bible and read the Gospel. I found my help in the spirit of those words. "We didn't start the fire"
  15. This is the type of respectable post that beckons a reasonable discussion. Even though, I dont agree fully with what you said, there is little if any personal attack. I am not disputing that beliefs can be dangerous... at all. I am saying that they can be very beneficial, and contrary to popular atheistic belief, have been very beneficial in many ways. For example, our faith at least gives you a foundation from which to cling to the atheistic belief (non-belief). Many become atheist because of the way others believe in God, so, for your sake, we seem to have some sort of purpose to your identity. Of course someone like you would know that there are actually good things that come from faith as well... but theres no need to go into that... however.. What exactly are we going against each other for? Legislation has nothing to do with my faith... it is ALL politics. Anyone who reads and understands the Gospel knows that Jesus pulls us out of the world, spiritually. This means that I do not get involved in your politics, it goes against what I believe entirely. Sorry if that is not the status quo, but I dont understand how anyone who follows Christ can get so involved in the politics of the world. This is something a brief glance into the Gospel can easily reveal. So, your facts are a little obscured there at least, respectively. The question is that if you only accept facts, then how can you accept that God is not in your equation? Did you, scientifically and factually deduce that God is not real? More likely than not Atheists share a belief, they just dont call it that. Not only that, what makes you think that I dont believe in facts? Facts are based on truth, not the other way around. The fact is that just becasue you cant prove something, doesnt mean it isnt true. We have had this discussion before. Mathematics is a perfect example, as is physics, that the laws of both are based on truth. So, under everything you can prove lies truth. Curious to say the least if you ask me. And I do understand what Atheist are supposed to be, and I know that not all atheist are anti Christian, but I still maintain there is an anti Christian tone to most atheist replys that I have been on the other end of. I did however, say there were a few exceptions. "We didn't start the fire"
  16. Ill be honest with you, as evil as mankind is, I would never want to live in a world where God is not only ignored, he is actually hated. You are proving my earlier statement to be more true than not. Words such as yours are the spirit of the anti Christ... you may want to keep that in mind when the shit really starts to hit the fan. "We didn't start the fire"
  17. I can show you no proof, so I guess your really not open to it after all. how does anyone show proof of faith? Even if they did things that would prove they believed in something, it still wouldnt provide proof to someone who needs proof to believe in anything. "We didn't start the fire"
  18. Are you kidding? Am I the one who claims to be nuetral while at the same time saying things like "All religions are cults" and "YOU have a complex", and "there is no logic behind what you believe (paraphrasing)" You'll get no argument from me about organized religion, unless you are calling the ministry of the Holy Spirit an organized religion? Have you read a Gospel? "We didn't start the fire"
  19. I gotta say, I expected a little more out of you, respectively. Maybe you should go back and re-read my post for key words. I have now been in these forums long enough to know when im being vibed. You can defend atheism all you like, but the tone of many of the posts I have read on these forums rings out like a loud anti Christian bell. if you want to present your A-theist beliefs more objectively, you might want to work on the tone of your words a little. If I am given the time, I may compile a stream of posts that may re-ignite the tone I am speaking of and you can tell me if im wrong again. Hell, just go back and read post one on this thread... there's just a little of what I am talking about. "We didn't start the fire"
  20. I dont understand why that would be incorrect? I think I understand your point, but your point seems to be making the same point I made earlier. If im reading it right anyway. The point is that normally a child fantasizes a great deal and the average adult pretty much stops fantasizing like a child at some point and gets swallowed up by the "realities" in the world. The child doesnt perceive the reality the adult does, and it seems visa versa would be a fair statement. But, that doesnt mean that what the child percieves as real and what the adult percieves as real are demonstrably incorrect... just different. Different realities, different perceptions, different paths... but, one major similarity... life. I continue to ask, what should be a fairly easy question for scientists, seeing as it is so prevalent... what is life? And still no one knows. With all they do know, (especially with how sure many of them are that they know without doubt that God is not even a possibility) they really dont know anything about life. Like what is its origin, what is its purpose in the universe...ect... The whole time you answer these questions on the rock solid premise that you are right about God not being even a possibility, while at the same time never coming close to admitting that you could be wrong. Now right or wrong does not matter to me at all, as far as the origin of life goes, but as far as humbleness is concerned, something we can all benefit from, it obviously seems to have a pretty big impact on spreading the outright lie that God is not even a possibility. So again, I ask, what do you think makes something real? "We didn't start the fire"
  21. If all religions are cults, then what do you use as the standard for any belief? Your statement might as well say that belief in anything is a cult. Anymore nowadays, the more I read, the more I am seeing that Atheism seems to be an accepted term for anti-Christian. If I am wrong or out of line here, then Im sorry, but thats been my observation so far... with very little exceptions. "We didn't start the fire"
  22. Your right. And some cant tell the difference between life and death either. So much room for wonder stolen by the "reality" that has been passed down to us. Life is for dreaming, or its not. But I would hardly begin to imply that neither the non-dreamer nor the dreamer have not had a purposeful impact in the worlds' perceived realities. That is, there is room for the innocent child dreamer and the one who sheds his innocence on this earth. We can learn alot from a child can we not? I wonder what "reality" they live in? Probably closer to the reality that is perceived as fantasy to those living in the "real reality" I presume. Nevertheless, what is it that makes something real? I would like to hear some opinions on that. "We didn't start the fire"
  23. And... we think you greatly underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit. I know I did. The whole point of the Gospel is not to teach us righteousness, but to give us righteousness. What you may not understand is the difference between the two. What can a man do to be considered perfectly righteous before God? How many atonements would there have to be for certain sins? What type of person would I have to wait to be before I can find a relationship with God? The truth is that those in Christ are sinners, just like you, but, we dont want to be, and therefore we persevere in that truth. Others may see it as we are missing out, im okay with that believe me, because I know that what i get in return for my desire to grow in God far outweighs anything I ever got in sin. So, continue to take what you want out of the Gospel, but just understand that it may be your "staunch atheist" (your example) who is really missing out on its true gift. "We didn't start the fire"
  24. Paul, check this out. This is a pic of just a normal everyday clipping in Kuwait. I think the walls are coming down in America as far as homosexuality is concerned... unlike other places that continue to stack higher and higher with the blocks of hypocrisy... nevermind, it exceeds the 100kb size i guess... ill just type it word for word.. Gays 'kissing in public': Operatives from the Secret Service arrested six cross-dressers for committing immoral activities along Bilajat Street towards Beda roundabout. According to sources, all the cross-dressers belonged to Arab countries. They added that two of them were caught kissing in public. They were referred to the authorities for further action and a case was registered. Just thought Id share that with you. Also, its my observation that there are more gays in Arab countries than in western countries (per capita) Again, the world is hypocrisy. If anyone judges you then they judge themselves. "We didn't start the fire"
  25. Nowhere in the Gospel does it say that a homosexual cannot have a relationship with God. Your quarrel is with man, not God. There are things in the New Testament that were said becasue they fit the traditions and practices at the time. There are things that say slaves be good to your masters and masters be good to your slaves... things that say a man ought not to have long hair because at the time, the Jewish temples had no other practice...ect... ect... But, discernment is the goal of the Holy Spirit. To reveal the full truth of the promise of grace. "As sin increases, so also grace increases" I think it is safe to say that sin is running rampid in todays modern socialistic enviornment. If thats the case, then so is grace. But the sin, as others judge on you is not your homosexuality, but that you let that keep you from a relationship with God. Something to at least keep in mind. Of course you do. Might as well wish for an atheist Kingdom as well casue guess what... that is coming. Only it wont be as pleasent as you hope. Really? Hows that? Seem pretty sure of yourself there dont you? Microscopic bacteria floating through the galaxies finding itself encased in a ball of forming fire... strong enough to withstand the "coincidental" creation of the earth and evolving after billions of years into what we are today? Thats just one Ive heard anyway. It blows my mind that this is the actual accepted theory of many scientists today. Even though no one takes into consideration how perfectly the earth/space/the sun/the moon/water ect... ect... all comes together to produce the perfect enviornment for a force scientists have no idea about. What is Life. How would you explain that as surely as you would to students without the possiblity of being wrong? Your better off teaching theories, which if I remember right were taught in my school... but I didnt hear anything about the Gospel in science class. We are a world of hypocrites. The only one who isnt a hypocrite is the one who admits he is one. Once again. Please do not combine my faith with politics. If Christian politicians want to be the "right" then take your "frustration" out on their politics, not the Christian faith. "We didn't start the fire"
