  1. Swoop is making sense to me. I'm also new ot the freefly game. I haven't had any true coaching but I jump with some guyz at my DZ who can fly really well. I get pointers and figure somethings out for myself. Watching your videos always helps you by showing your body postion, whether it be good or bad. I don't have the experience to give you any real advice. Just have fun, learn on every jump, and be safe! GL HF!! http://www.myspace.com/jump_land_pack_repeat
  2. Packing: When you start jumping more and more you are not going to want to wait for packers who are swamped with tandem rigs. There is also personal preference baout how rigs are. I like do it this way, he does it that way, and so on. You'll have plenty of help when you need it. Take Steve up on the offer of packing help. He practices packing whether he is jumping or not! Gear: Of course you want to get out from under the rental fees. Everyone recommended used gear to me because of the price and the fact that I was landing on my ass all the time. Just have whatever you buy used inspected by your rigger. If possible, before you buy it! Does your weight really fluctuate 15 lbs from day to day? That's weird! You're weird! http://www.myspace.com/jump_land_pack_repeat
  3. There is no need to feel like you "have to" do anything until you are comfortable doing it. The cost of the tandem is nothing in comparison with the confidence to get out the door yourself. It didn't feel right for a reason. You were not ready! I still get dried out while I'm jumping. Maybe it's the adrenalin! Everyone has their own pace. Move at yours! http://www.myspace.com/jump_land_pack_repeat
  4. I can't say that I have gotten bad service from anyone. I'm still new to the sport though! Good experiences with: Art @ Skydivestore (he'd kick my ass if I said otherwise LOL) Ward @ Mirage Mads @ L&b Everyone @ Rigging Adventures http://www.myspace.com/jump_land_pack_repeat
  5. My friend walked up to me and said "you want to go skydiving this weekend?" I never really thought about it before that moment. I said "yes" cause I couldn't think of a reason to say "no". We made 2 jumps at the end of the season and we were back at the begining of the next season to get our licenses. It's one of the best things I've ever done, and I can't figure out why I didn't do it sooner. Thanx Steve!! http://www.myspace.com/jump_land_pack_repeat
